CHAPTER 23: CHAPTER 23: FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE?

Although being kicked out of Shen Manor by Shen Jue was expected, I mean, the task is completed, how can I not be happy?

Rong Qingqing hugged her blanket and giggled for quite a while. Anyway, tomorrow someone from Shen Manor will definitely come to take her back. After all, she is Rong Qingqing, not some random person.

While Rong Qingqing was lying comfortably, Shen Xingwei, who chased after her from Shen Manor, was in a panic.

The car was driving fast, and even though he drove out to chase her as soon as he found out about this,

he was still ten minutes late. Once out of the lakeside area, Shen Xingwei had no idea where to find her.

He drove aimlessly around the city, even went to Rong Qingqing’s apartment in the city, knocked, but no one was there. He asked the security and confirmed that Rong Qingqing had not returned there.

Well, Rong Qingqing lived abroad most of the time, hardly staying at the apartment which was only cleaned once a month, so naturally, she wouldn’t return there after leaving Shen Manor.

In the past, whenever Rong Qingqing returned to the country, she always had the auntie clean the apartment thoroughly a day in advance before moving in.

Rong Qingqing had indeed blocked both Shen Xingwei and Rong Jiaojiao.

Rong Jiaojiao managed to get through to Rong Qingqing’s phone by calling from the family’s landline.

The phone rang just as Rong Qingqing was about to fall asleep. When she answered, her eyelids felt so heavy she could barely keep them open.

Only when she saw it was a call from the Rong Family, did Rong Qingqing think for a moment before answering.

"Rong Qingqing, I heard you got kicked out of Shen Manor by Shen Jue in the middle of the night?" As soon as the call connected, Rong Jiaojiao couldn’t wait to mock Rong Qingqing.

Although Shen Xingwei asked her to contact Rong Qingqing to find out where she was, Rong Jiaojiao didn’t care whether Rong Qingqing was stranded on the streets or not.

After hanging up on Shen Xingwei’s call, Rong Jiaojiao was so angry she almost smashed her phone.

Her fiancé called her in the middle of the night just to care about Rong Qingqing. She couldn’t swallow this anger!

Rong Qingqing realized, belatedly, that it was actually Rong Jiaojiao calling from the Rong Family landline.

She thought it was one of her cheap parents.

"Rong Jiaojiao, I didn’t realize you cared so much about me. Staying up late just to worry about my affairs."

Rong Qingqing chuckled, "I think you’re just bored."

"Who’s worried about you? If it weren’t for Shen Xingwei asking me I..." realizing she had let something slip, Rong Jiaojiao quickly stopped.

Changing her tone, she said, "Being kicked out in the middle of the night must feel terrible, right? Shen Jue kicked you out of Shen Manor without even arranging for a driver to take you away,

just leaving you at the gate of Shen Manor, stared at by the servants, must feel really awful, doesn’t it?"

"None of your business!" Rong Qingqing sneered, "Why would I feel bad? Even though I was kicked out by Shen Jue in the middle of the night, don’t I still have the concern of your fiancé, Shen Xingwei?

What? Shen Xingwei couldn’t contact me after I blocked him so he called you, asking you to care for his ex-fiancée?"

Rong Qingqing continued with a mischievous laugh, "Rong Jiaojiao, it must feel terrible to be woken up in the middle of the night by your fiancé, only to find out he’s worried about his ex, doesn’t it?"

With that, Rong Qingqing hung up the phone.
