Tokyo: From Lawless Madpolice to Minister
Chapter 772 - 631: Have You Never Considered That You Might Die?
CHAPTER 772: CHAPTER 631: HAVE YOU NEVER CONSIDERED THAT YOU MIGHT DIE?
Takashita Kanji booked a high-end restaurant.
As soon as Aoyama Xiu Xin entered, a well-built waiter came to greet him and led him to a private room, bowed, and left backwards.
He pushed the door open and entered directly.
"Minister, you’re here! Please have a seat." Takashita Kanji immediately stood up to welcome Aoyama Xiu Xin upon seeing him.
A woman wearing a pink kimono, with a graceful figure and beautiful appearance, also stood up following him.
Aoyama Xiu Xin nodded slightly and took off his coat.
Takashita Kanji gave the woman a look.
The woman quickly bent over to take the coat and hung it on a nearby coat rack, while Takashita Kanji pulled out a chair for Aoyama Xiu Xin, indicating for him to sit.
"Mr. Takashita, what can I do for you?" Aoyama Xiu Xin asked casually while picking up chopsticks to start eating.
After hanging up the clothes, the woman returned and sat next to Aoyama Xiu Xin, pouring tea and water for him. Her kimono neckline was intentionally loosened, and a slight movement could reveal her fair skin.
Takashita Kanji sat down opposite Aoyama Xiu Xin, respectfully saying, "In Hokkaido, thanks to your care, my Takashita Group was able to gain a foothold, but back in Tokyo, we’re facing some challenges in development. I hope the Minister can provide some guidance and support to my Takashita Group."
After speaking, he bent over with difficulty to pull a small box from under the table, placing it on the tabletop and opening it. It was full of gold bars.
"This is a token of appreciation from my Takashita Group. I hope the Minister won’t mind and kindly accept it!"
"Her too?" Aoyama Xiu Xin pointed to the young woman beside him, pulling her into his embrace. Amid her gasps, he grabbed the collar of her kimono and yanked it down. The kimono hung at her waist, leaving her voluptuous figure exposed. She crossed her arms over her chest, blushed deeply.
Takashita Kanji’s eyelid twitched. He lowered his head respectfully and said, "Yes! Please accept it, Minister."
Aoyama Xiu Xin hugged the young woman, buried his head in her bosom, and took a deep breath. "It smells truly sweet and appetizing! Makes you want to grind the bones and swallow them whole, but unfortunately, it feels laced with poison."
In Hokkaido, Takashita Kanji had frequently sent money and women his way. Continuing to do so didn’t seem inappropriate, yet Aoyama Xiu Xin had long known he was Hatanaka Zizi’s undercover agent. Given the current sensitive situation, and having always been vigilant, he was convinced today was definitely a trap.
Whether or not it was a trap, he believed it was.
If he was mistaken, then he’d be mistaken.
"Minister..." Hearing this, Takashita Kanji’s face slightly changed. He forced a stiff smile and said, "Minister, what do you mean? I didn’t quite catch it."
"Mr. Takashita, I bet this room must be under surveillance." Aoyama Xiu Xin stood up while fondling the anxious and embarrassed woman in his embrace. He walked around the room, pointing at one potential camera spot after another, saying, "Is it here? Or here? Handing over the recordings of me admitting to providing protection to violent gangs in Hokkaido and accepting sexual and monetary bribes to Hatanaka Zizi would be quite the achievement."
Boom!
Takashita Kanji seemed to be struck by lightning.
He had only learned yesterday that he was actually working for Deputy Prime Minister Hatanaka Zizi, but judging by Aoyama Xiu Xin’s demeanor, he had long been aware of this.
Would he come today without any defenses?
"Mr. Takashita is willing to sacrifice himself for the development of the Takashita Group, truly touching." Aoyama Xiu Xin pressed the woman onto the dining table, letting her face Takashita Kanji across the table. He lifted her skirt, unbuckling his belt while saying, "Too bad it’s all for naught."
If there really was a camera in the room, then Takashita Kanji, as the briber, would also be legally liable. Hatanaka Zizi clearly offered him substantial promises; otherwise, he wouldn’t have agreed to set himself up.
Takashita Kanji’s face turned pale, and he said nothing.
The room was filled only with the gentle moaning of the woman.
For a long time, Takashita Kanji took a deep breath and slowly raised his head to look at Aoyama Xiu Xin, saying, "The Minister guessed right; there are indeed cameras in the room, but you also guessed wrong, not just cameras were prepared."
After speaking, he grabbed the ceramic wine pot on the table and smashed it heavily onto the ground, shattering into pieces. At the same time, with a bang, the door was violently kicked open. Miyagi Youcai rushed in with four police officers, sternly accusing, "Aoyama Xiu Xin, as the Head of Criminal Affairs Department of the Metropolitan Police Department, you collude with violent gangs. Please cooperate with our investigation."
A police officer casually shut the door behind them.
"Alright, I really miscalculated, didn’t expect you to prepare so thoroughly." Aoyama Xiu Xin sighed, ignoring the people in front of him, continued his brutal assault on the woman’s hair, "I’ll talk when I’m done."
Four officers looked at Miyagi Youcai simultaneously.
They felt uneasy confronting Aoyama Xiu Xin, but as Miyagi Youcai’s confidants and with Hatanaka Zizi’s backing, they were willing to take the risk.
"Take him." Miyagi Youcai directly ordered.
Despite having a distinct advantage, he did not dare to let his guard down against this person, making sure to restrain Aoyama Xiu Xin first to be assured.
Two officers stayed in place, while the other two approached Aoyama Xiu Xin, "Minister Aoyama, please."
"Almost there, just a bit longer." Aoyama Xiu Xin casually raised his wrist to check the time, smiling mischievously.
The two officers glanced back at Miyagi Youcai.
Miyagi Youcai furrowed his brows, feeling a strong unease for unknown reasons, "Take him away!"
The two officers immediately reached for Aoyama Xiu Xin’s shoulders, just at that moment, the door was violently kicked open again. Nakamura Shinichi burst in with over ten plainclothes officers, filling the private room.
"Don’t move!"
The four officers were instantly paralyzed, staring at the dark barrels pointed at them, and instinctively raised their hands.
Miyagi Youcai’s face turned ashen, he glared at Aoyama Xiu Xin, slowly raising his hands.
Takashita Kanji closed his eyes, looking defeated.
In front of so many people, the woman lying on the table felt utterly ashamed, biting her red lips and silently enduring the heavy blow from life.
"How disappointing." Aoyama Xiu Xin shook his head, stepped back, casually grabbed the hem of the woman’s kimono to wipe himself, fastened his belt, picked up a flask, took a couple of gulps, and smashed it against Takashita Kanji’s face.
Bang, the flask shattered into pieces. Takashita Kanji screamed, fell to the ground, and rolled continuously, blood streaming down his face.
Aoyama Xiu Xin walked up to Miyagi Youcai and asked expressionlessly, "Where’s the recording of the room?"
"In my pocket," Miyagi Youcai replied truthfully, without any meaningless resistance.
Nakamura Shinichi stepped forward, rummaged through his pocket, and took out a memory card from the inside pocket of his suit, handing it to Aoyama Xiu Xin. Aoyama Xiu Xin took it, fiddling with it in his hand, curiously asking, "Mr. Miyagi, do you know what price you will pay next?"
Losing was painful, but the winner flaunting their victory in front of him was even more so. Miyagi Youcai snorted coldly and said, "Enough, Aoyama Xiu Xin, you can only say you played a better move, I have nothing to say."
"Quite stubborn, aren’t you?" Aoyama Xiu Xin looked at him with a half-smile, "Do you think at worst you’ll just leave the Police Headquarters, but Hatanaka Zizi will definitely make other arrangements for you, so it won’t be a loss?"
Miyagi Youcai did not answer, but his expression indicated that was exactly what he thought. Hatanaka Zizi lost, not him. He had already demonstrated his loyalty and put it into action. Hatanaka Zizi would not treat him poorly.
"Have you never thought you might die?"
Aoyama Xiu Xin’s expression suddenly turned cold, pulling out a policeman’s gun and pressing it against Miyagi Youcai’s head.
"Bluffing, you dare to kill me?"
Miyagi Youcai sneered, taking a step forward against the gun barrel, his eyes full of disdain and ridicule.
"Bang!"
The gunshot sounded, and Miyagi Youcai fell to the ground with a look of astonishment on his face, confusion flashing in his eyes. He never thought Aoyama Xiu Xin would actually dare to shoot him dead.
"Ah!"
The woman on the table was so frightened she turned pale.
Miyagi Youcai’s four henchmen sweated profusely.
"Bang."
Aoyama Xiu Xin turned around and fired another shot, killing Takashita Kanji amidst his terrified gaze, then moved the gun to point at the woman on the table.
"No! Don’t kill me! Please, no!"
The woman, who hadn’t lost control while he was doing it, now was so frightened she lost control, immediately kneeling and bowing her head repeatedly to beg for mercy.
Aoyama Xiu Xin suddenly laughed, handing the gun back to the policeman, "Rest assured, you are a witness, how could I bear to kill you? You all are witnesses too."
He looked at Miyagi Youcai’s four henchmen.
"Yes, we are witnesses, witnesses."
The four, pale-faced, nodded like chickens pecking at grain, not knowing what Aoyama Xiu Xin wanted them to witness, but agreeing just to be safe.
Otherwise, they would really be finished!
"You report that Miyagi Youcai and Takashita Kanji were conducting illegal transactions here. I arrived early with people to set up an ambush, and at the moment of their transaction, we rushed in to capture them. Unexpectedly, we encountered armed resistance, and they were both killed in the shootout. Is there a problem?"
Aoyama Xiu Xin looked at the four and asked.
"No! No! That’s exactly it!"
The four shook their heads like rattles.
Aoyama Xiu Xin walked up to the woman, grabbed her chin, and said, "You were the woman Takashita Kanji arranged for Miyagi Youcai. Remember that?"
"I remember! I remember! It was Takashita Kanji who told me to sleep with Miyagi Youcai." The woman’s voice was full of tears, responding endlessly, her body shaking like a sieve.
Aoyama Xiu Xin released her, looked at Nakamura Shinichi, and said, "You take care of the details."
"Yes!" Nakamura Shinichi replied in a deep voice.
Aoyama Xiu Xin picked up the coat from the hanger, draped it over his arm, and strode out with confidence.
"Minister, take care!"
Everyone behind him bowed in unison to see him off.
After going downstairs and getting into the car, Aoyama Xiu Xin made a call to Yanchuan Xianyou to get Hatanaka Zizi’s number and called.
"Moshi moshi."
"Prime Minister Yutian, it’s Aoyama Xiu Xin. I’m sorry to inform you both your dogs are dead, but I’m grateful for what you helped me accomplish through Takashita Kanji in Hokkaido. Thank you."
Hatanaka Zizi was silent for a moment before directly hanging up the phone.
"Doo~ doo~ doo~"
Aoyama Xiu Xin chuckled and casually tossed the phone aside, closing his eyes to rest. "To the Police Headquarters."
"Yes!" Jin Yucheng immediately started the vehicle.
