?Chapter 1270:

As he spoke, Eric gently took her hand and started guiding her toward the car. “Just wait. You may not trust me now, but once everything about the Remy situation is revealed, you’ll see the truth.”

“Stop!” Hadley pulled her hand back and raised her voice without warning. “Don’t say another word!”

“Hadley…” Eric stood, taken aback, not anticipating her intense reaction.

“When will this ever stop?” Tears began to form in Hadley’s eyes, her gaze filled with distress. “You seem to have missed the point entirely! You’re the one who pursued me! You should be considering how I feel! Things should be going the way I want them to! And now, you’ve just made things miserable for me!”

She took a deep breath, her voice shaking. “Just leave me alone! Stop making my life a misery!”

Then she shoved him aside and ran off without looking back.

    “Hadley!” Eric called out, stunned.

Had she really said he made her life a misery?

The moment Hadley stepped into the studio, Elvin waved her over.

    “Mr. Webster, what’s up?”

“In fact, I have some great news,” Elvin responded with a warm smile, motioning for her to take a seat.

He pulled a document from his drawer andid it before her. “I’ve secured an endorsement deal for you. Take a look.”

Hadley blinked, taken aback. An endorsement deal? Already?

“You look surprised. Didn’t think people were paying attention, did you?”

Hertest drama role had been minor, but her distinctive looks and charm, coupled with her character’s appeal, had captured a significant fanbase.

Additionally, the buzz about her ongoing rtionship with Eric had kept her in the headlines.

And, of course, the gossip didn’t hurt. Whispers about her and Eric were still making the rounds.

“It’s a bit of fortune, too,” Elvin continued. “The previous spokesperson had to bow out, opening this opportunity for you.”

Hadley scanned the contract, her eyes widening as she realized it was an endorsement for a prestigious skincare brand.

The former face of the brand was none other than Linda, who was now unable to continue.

Hadley’s smile broadened. “Thank you, Mr. Webster.”

“Don’t mention it. The brand representatives will be here in a few days to discuss the promotional shoot. Don’t be nervous, just concentrate on shining your brightest.”

With a confident smile, Hadley responded, “Alright.”

Elissa had decided to move out of Hadley’s ce and into the employee dorm Ernest had arranged for her.

Hadley lent a hand during the packing, and on the day of the move, she drove Elissa to her new ce.

Since Elissa didn’t own much, the two of them managed the entire move without too much effort.

The new ce was a modest two-bedroom unit with its own kitchen and bathroom. For now, Elissa would have it all to herself.
