"I've closed my eyes, you can help me change."

Never seen such a bold girl before.

Mason Nightshade realized he was even less composed than a woman. She took the initiative, and yet he was... nervous!

Mason cursed at himself internally, wondering if his resistance had weakened from a lack of female contact. His slightly calloused hand reached over, touching the fabric of her nightgown, his fingertips trembling, and a fine layer of sweat emerged on his palm.

"Mason, are you nervous?" The soft voice suddenly sounded.

Mason's fingers froze, his face darkening, and he replied in a deep voice with just two words, "I'm not!"

"Oh." Aurelia responded, then urged him, "Hurry up, my arms are getting sore from holding them up."

"..."

This is definitely the most embarrassing moment of his life!

No exceptions!

"Mason, I don't want to wear that one." Mason tossed the woman's nightgown aside, turned to the wardrobe to get a dress, and as he pulled out a pink dress, he heard her voice behind him. His tall figure froze, and when he glanced back, his handsome face turned bright red in an instant.

"Close your eyes!" Mason barked in a deep voice.

Aurelia sheepishly stuck out her tongue and closed her eyes again, muttering softly, "Pink is too flashy for the night, and it doesn't suit me."

Aurelia let Mason fuss over her until she heard his slightly hoarse voice say, "Done." She opened her eyes, eagerly rushing to the mirror, only for her face to drop instantly.

"Mason, what did you dress me in?" Aurelia glared at the tall man standing behind her with beautiful eyes, and he smiled in satisfaction, "Hmm, it suits you well."

"Like hell it does!"

Aurelia tugged at the sweatshirt long enough to cover her butt, paired with a pair of wide, baggy pants. Why make her wear long pants in the middle of summer? And such an uncoordinated outfit, too!

"I want to change!"

Mason stepped closer, coaxing her in a low voice, "The temperature is cool at night, better to dress warmly."

Inside, he was thinking: with that pile of colorful clothes in the wardrobe, who knows how many love rivals she'd attract if she wore those out at night.

Aurelia felt a bit swayed.

However, looking at her incredibly mismatched outfit, she struggled a bit internally, though her tone weakened, "But... it doesn't look good."

Mason reached for her head, his long fingers threading through her hair, the soft, smooth texture making him reluctant to let go. He felt a warmth inside, his eyes filled with deep affection.

"You look good in anything."

His deep voice resonated like a cello from his throat.

Aurelia hesitated for a few minutes before finally compromising, looking up at him with her beautiful, bright eyes, "Does it really look good?"

"Yeah." Mason nodded, his gaze deeply fixed on her charming face.

Aurelia beamed, "Then let's go buy some cake."

Mason nodded, watching her walk out, his eyes slightly darkening. He took out his phone and dialed Grayson Quinn's number, "If someone suddenly changes their demeanor, what might be the reason?"

When Mason's call came through, Grayson was sleeping. Half-awake, upon hearing Mason's deep and cold voice, he forced himself to stay awake, groggily responding, "There are many reasons, it depends on their behavior."

"Waking up with a sudden closeness, what could be the reason?" Mason asked in a somber tone.

Grayson's curiosity quickly burned away most of his sleepiness. He climbed out of bed, grabbing his phone to his ear, a teasing smile spreading, "Are you talking about your girl? What's up with you two at this hour? Why are you being so cautious if she's suddenly close to you? Never mind the reason, just enjoy the moment first."
