Who knows if Mason Nightshade did it on purpose, or if it was a coincidence.

The two retreated to a corner of the wall.

Mason pressed one arm against the wall behind her, his tall figure leaning down towards her, exerting a strong sense of intimidation.

This was the first time Aurelia Shaw felt such a powerful aura from him.

Unconsciously, her guard went up! Her peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly as she watched his movements warily, her slender fingers quietly reaching for the protrusion on her thigh.

Mason caught a glimpse of her subtle action out of the corner of his eye but pretended not to notice, his deep eyes gazing into hers, lowering his head to maintain a certain distance from her beautiful eyes.

He could smell the pleasant scent of incense emanating from her.

Mason felt a moment of distraction, his deep voice sneaking out from his thin lips, "Evidence."

Hmm?

Aurelia's delicate brows furrowed slightly.

Mason composed himself, observing her long and curling eyelashes flutter close up, the inherently enchanting peach blossom eyes glistening with an icy luster that kept people at a distance. It was as if his heart had been scratched by a cat, itching.

His deep and mellow voice resonated in his throat, both deep and stern, "To convict someone, you need evidence. You didn't even give me a chance for a trial or defense, yet you directly convicted me. So, the evidence."

The man was too close, his warm breath brushing her face as he spoke.

Aurelia's eyes faintly flashed with surprise, her body subtly shifting as she raised her phone between them, creating some distance.

At the same time, she chuckled lightly, "Isn't this evidence?"

Mason had already seen the photos on the phone earlier, "What does this prove? Does it demonstrate that I did anything to you, or did it capture the indecent process between us?"

Was he planning to deny it?

Aurelia couldn't be bothered to argue with him further. With someone who refuses to admit anything, the more you talk, the more your words are wasted.

However, just as she turned around, another arm was blocking her path.

The man's tall figure completely surrounded her, his strong presence pressing in close, and she could smell a faint lemon scent on him. It didn't seem like a fragrance from any shower gel—how strange that a man would have no sweat odor but a light, pleasant fragrance.

He naturally had a seductive allure to women.

"Move!" Aurelia commanded coldly, as she lifted her peach blossom eyes full of cold light to glare at him.

Mason loved seeing her show her claws. She was usually as gentle as a kitten, but once provoked, she'd silently extend her claws, scratching you without hesitation, leaving you in pain without knowing when she'd struck.

Seeing her like this, Mason couldn't help but want to shield her from behind.

"Slandering me and thinking you can leave so easily?" Mason asked with a curl of his lips, his deep eyes fixed on her luscious red lips, his gaze inadvertently showing a wolf-like hunger for its prey.

Aurelia's brows furrowed, and she drew a knife hidden by her leg, slashing its sharp blade towards his neck. He was already on guard. When the blade came, he turned sharply, grabbing her wrist and wrenching it back.

Although Aurelia anticipated it wouldn't be easy, she hadn't expected to be overpowered without even making one strike.

Her body involuntarily straightened, her wrist pinned behind her, as the man's breath pressed close behind her.

Laughter softly echoed in her ear.

"Aurelia, don't try to get rough with me, you can't beat me. I said I would never be on guard against you, but you have too many flaws."
