She strode over, picked up her phone, and swiped to answer, "Hello, who is it?"

Aurelia Shaw's expression turned cold.

The malice in Sophie Nye's eyes faded. She remembered the Shaw Family's second daughter, obedient and well-behaved—just the way she liked.

She intentionally softened her voice in front of Aurelia.

"Oh, it's Jovana, isn't it? What's the matter with calling Aurelia?"

"A-Auntie?" Jovana Shaw was both surprised and delighted, not expecting Sophie Nye to be next to Aurelia. However... "Oh, no, nothing special. It's just that we're going out tonight, weren't we hurt? I called to ask if Sister needs me to take care of her."

"When we're at home, I'm the one taking care of Sister. I'm afraid she'll be uncomfortable with someone else."

"What happened?" he leaned down and asked.

Aurelia looked up lazily, glancing at Sophie still on the phone, "Your mom is discussing with my sister about kicking me out and marrying my sister into the family."

Mason's eyes darkened. This mother of his was truly becoming more and more out of line!
