"Oh Daisy! Why are you crying?" a familiar British-accented voice came.

Aurelia's body stiffened, she jerked her head back, and indeed saw that blonde, blue-eyed man. Just like a few years ago, as soon as he appeared, his elegant, noble aura attracted women's eyes that couldn't look away.

"Albert!" Aurelia shouted excitedly and strode over!

Mason Nightshade had never seen Aurelia so excited towards anyone, he glanced up, seeing the man with somewhat foreign handsome features, his deep gaze instantly becoming dark, emanating a powerful aura of gloom and depression.

Albert was comforting his sister, who was crying for some unknown reason, when he heard the clear and familiar woman's voice and looked up following the sound. His blue eyes slightly narrowed, a splendid and beautiful smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

"Oh! Aurelia!"

He enthusiastically opened his arms, pulling Aurelia into a hug, tightly embracing her for a moment.

"Oh my, my little Aurelia, how long has it been since I last saw you? Such a great surprise."

Aurelia returned his enthusiastic hug, but only with the longing of friends who haven't seen each other for a long time, "Why did you suddenly come back? Why didn't you tell me beforehand so I could pick you up at the airport?"

"Family asked me to return at short notice, I was planning to ask you out after things settled down in the next few days. You haven't changed."

"Haven't changed?" Aurelia raised her brows, looking at Albert with wanton eyes.

Albert laughed heartily, lightly hooked his arm around her neck, "Haven't changed at all, still so arrogant and willful."

"Brother, do you know her?" Daisy blinked her wet eyes, looking aggrievedly at her brother, then glanced at Aurelia with surprise and discontent.

"This is the friend I told you we must meet upon returning," Albert enthusiastically introduced, paused, realizing something, "You mean she's the one who made you cry?"

"No." Daisy became a bit embarrassed, pointing to the man behind her with an unpleasant expression, "It's her husband."

Albert's face instantly darkened, "Daisy, you actually got involved with a married man... that's unacceptable!"

He apologetically extended his hand to Mason Nightshade, "I'm sorry, are you Mr. Mason Nightshade? I've heard a lot about you."

Mason paused for a moment before shaking his hand, his fingers slightly closing.

Albert felt his hand being gripped with tremendous force, almost crushing his bones; the strong sense of danger emanating from the man was intense, as if he was being threatened and having his sovereignty asserted. A surprised and amused smile flashed in his eyes beneath the blonde hair, his lips curling.

"Who is this?"

Mason Nightshade looked at Albert, but he was asking Aurelia.

"Albert, my senior from M Nation," Aurelia pointed to Mason Nightshade, "Albert, this is Mason Nightshade."

Mason Nightshade... not husband, just Mason Nightshade.

Mason Nightshade's eyes narrowed imperceptibly.
