Raymond Cooper's eyes flashed with surprise.

He burst out laughing with a "pfft."

"Alright." Raymond readily agreed.

He glanced apprehensively at Mason Nightshade, and with a tinge of fear in his voice, he said, "Let's agree first, if I beat you, he can't take revenge on me!"

He was tormented too harshly by him at the shooting range.

It simply crushed his confidence.

Shooting used to be his most confident skill, but now Mason Nightshade had beaten him to the point where he started questioning his own life, wondering if he could really shoot.

"I'm enough to beat you." Aurelia Shaw spoke with a smile.

She lowered her head to carefully inspect the handgun and studied it for a while before looking up to ask Mason Nightshade:

"Is there any bullet inside? How do I open it?"

Mason Nightshade taught her how to open it.

Raymond Cooper widened his eyes in shock, "Hey, don't tell me you've never touched a gun before."

"Never." Aurelia Shaw's voice was steady and flat.

She carefully observed the steps Mason Nightshade taught her, mimicked them herself, looking calm and serious, completely ignoring Raymond Cooper's surprise and disdain.

Should he say she was overly confident, or was it that Mason Nightshade's woman was just different?

"Mason Nightshade, are you really okay with this?" Raymond Cooper asked.

"There's nothing to worry about." Mason Nightshade replied casually, his fingers deliberately brushing against her fingertips as he taught her, mouth curving in a smile like tasting honey.

Raymond Cooper cast a suspicious gaze at Aurelia Shaw, still unwilling to believe, "Let me state again, if I beat your wife, you can't retaliate against me."

Mason Nightshade looked at him coolly.

"We'll talk when you win."

He turned back and looked at her, "Do you have confidence?"

"You teach me." Aurelia Shaw looked up at him.

Her eyelashes were thick and long, the cool breeze making her cheeks blush, looking at him from this angle, her dark, clear eyes held a hint of allure, sparkling, Mason Nightshade's heart skipped twice, his lips pressing tightly, a low "mm" coming from his throat.

Then the three of them watched these two, one teaching meticulously, the other learning seriously.

"Dare to compete with you, I think she's not completely ignorant." The older Knox squinted and said.

Stephen Leigh took a drag of his cigarette, nodded in agreement to Raymond Cooper, "I think so too, don't forget there's a move called 'unexpected', quite possibly..."

Bang!

Before he finished speaking, a shot rang out first, then they saw Aurelia Shaw put down the gun, her brow furrowed, with the electronic target showing a zero.

She missed!

Feeling slapped in the face, Stephen Leigh coughed awkwardly, swallowing back the unfinished words, muttering quietly, "Seems like it really is her first time."

Knox also laughed, "Interesting."

Raymond Cooper deeply furrowed his brow, his gaze shifting between the two, lingering a moment longer on Mason Nightshade's silhouette, unable to believe he would let him bully his wife.

Is there some kind of conspiracy here?

Having interacted with Mason Nightshade for so long, he was definitely not as calm and gentlemanly as he appeared on the surface.

Two hours later.

Aurelia Shaw indeed was holding a gun for the first time, feeling a sense of novelty, daring to compete with Raymond Cooper because she'd played with toy guns at arcades before.

Only upon personal encounter did she discover that there was indeed a difference with real guns.

"How is it? Lost your confidence?" Seeing Aurelia Shaw fall silent, her gaze lowered, not knowing what she was thinking, Mason Nightshade asked, his voice low and magnetic.

"Aren't you afraid I'll lose?" Aurelia Shaw countered.

This man's confidence in her was intriguing.
