Getting affirmation from Stephen Leigh surprised Aurelia, but it was expected.

She smiled, "Hmm, choosing me will definitely break the ratings record."

Such bold words aren't something everyone dares to say. Stephen Leigh looked at her in surprise, his fingers itchy as he murmured softly, "As long as your husband tortures me a bit less."

"I can't control him," Aurelia murmured back.

"If even you can't control him, there's no one in this world who can!" Stephen Leigh said seriously, clearly having been tormented by Mason Nightshade more than a few times.

Aurelia's expression was momentarily dazed, "That wolf isn't easily tamed by anyone." There's always wildness in a wolf's nature.

Stephen Leigh didn't understand what she meant, but instinctively felt there was more to the story. He knew the more he knew, the more trouble it would be, so wisely did not pursue the matter further.

"By the way," Aurelia remembered something and asked, "Who is the other person with you?"

"Mason Nightshade brought you here and didn't even introduce us? He certainly spoils you enough." Stephen Leigh said, "The other person is the director of the Bureau of Commerce, he has wide connections, if you ever need anything you can ask him for help."

He thought: Mason Nightshade must have introduced them to her so she could have that option. Otherwise, despite the Shaw Family connections, she couldn't have gotten acquainted with them.

Aurelia nodded.

Returning to her seat, Mason Nightshade asked in a low voice, "Why did it take so long?"

"Ran into Stephen Leigh on the way, chatted for a bit," Aurelia didn't hide it.

Mason Nightshade glanced at Stephen Leigh, said nothing, and placed a piece of meat into Aurelia's bowl.

When Stephen Leigh felt Mason Nightshade's gaze sweep over him, his back broke out in a cold sweat and he shivered thinking: Obviously, you created the opportunity for your wife to "mingle" with us, why give me such a sinister look! Wasn't it you who created the chance? Wasn't it you who brought her to us? Helping you out and getting chilled by your gaze, it's not easy for us!

After dinner, Aurelia went back to Nightshade Residence with Mason Nightshade. The two spent an uneventful evening, with Mason Nightshade once again making do on the couch for the night. Mr. Nightshade, watching happily on the surveillance footage, would probably be furious if he knew about all this.

The next day, when Mason Nightshade went to work, Aurelia arranged to meet with Albert.

They had met briefly before and hadn't contacted each other since. Albert was an important mentor in her life and held a special meaning for her.

As soon as she entered the restaurant, she heard a British-accented call, "Aurelia."

Aurelia responded, smiling as she walked over and sat across from Albert. She glanced at the woman beside him, frowning in confusion, "Why did she come with you?"

Daisy proudly lifted her chin, "Humph, you should be grateful I came to meet you. You know, in M Nation not just anyone can see me. Fans offering tens of millions to meet me, I've refused, not to mention numerous large music festivals inviting me."

"Oh, is that so?" Aurelia replied breezily.

Albert smiled helplessly, "I apologize, she grew up in an exceptional environment, hence her arrogant nature. I apologize, oh right, I forgot to introduce you, Daisy is a pianist, hmm... pretty well-known I suppose." He paused to consider.

Pretty well-known? Looking at Daisy's demeanor, it's clear Albert was being modest. Though Aurelia wasn't interested in the piano world, she could totally see Daisy was well-renowned in it.
