Tyler Thomas chuckled, "You've already made your decision, so why bother asking me?"

"I thought you'd disagree," Andrew Kennedy raised his eyebrows in surprise.

"She's right. The Johnson Group and Shaw Clan Corporation are indeed tempting. Even though it's just registered, with these two major groups supporting it, the resources are absolutely not inferior to other companies. Since the benefits are better, why wouldn't I choose her? I'm not stupid enough to refuse money."

Indeed, this is the typical response from Tyler Thomas.

"But..." Andrew Kennedy grinned slyly, "Don't give her an answer now, leave her hanging for a couple of days."

Evening.

Mason Nightshade returned home and heard from Butler Lee about the matter, his face turning ashen as he called Aurelia.

The moment the call connected, he asked anxiously, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." She knew he called because of Viscount Zhou's inexplicable pull earlier that day, "The Viscount needed something from me."

"Your health!" Mason Nightshade gritted his teeth and reminded her.

Even though he repeatedly told her not to wander off, she still went out, and it was so late yet she hadn't returned.

"Where are you now? I'll come and pick you up."

"Cloud Pavilion Garden, you don't need to come."

Mason Nightshade stopped in his tracks, his grip on the phone tightened, his thin lips pressed firmly together, and his breathing grew heavier.

He said nothing, even though she didn't say much over the phone, he still sensed her distancing from him. Why was this happening? Things were fine between them just last night.

Was it just because of his loss of control last night?

Aurelia Shaw's bold and flamboyant voice rang out: "Mason Nightshade, don't think I can forgive you so easily for what happened last night. Don't show yourself in front of me for the next two days. I'm in a bad mood, and seeing you will only make me hit you."

Hearing her lively and vibrant voice, Mason Nightshade let out a sigh of relief, releasing the frustration from his heart, "You're still in a special period, what can I do to you? Be good, let me pick you up, okay?"

"Don't even think about it, feel free to come if you want to stay out all night!"

The call ended, leaving Mason Nightshade feeling defeated, standing silently in the room for a few minutes before grabbing the keys on the table and heading out.

"Where are you going?" As he passed through the living room, Kai Nightshade asked him; he had never seen him this hurried.

"To pick up my wife." Mason Nightshade didn't even turn his head.

Kai Nightshade smiled contentedly, pointing him out to Butler Lee, "Did you see that? This kid's finally come to his senses!"

"But, why do I feel like Young Madam doesn't seem to like the Young Master much anymore?" Butler Lee cautiously glanced at Kai Nightshade, speaking softly.

Kai Nightshade's smile froze, he sighed, "Ah, Mason Nightshade, this kid, he's got such a good wife, he'd better not lose her. Aurelia, though she seems naive, she's the type who would give her whole world to someone she loves. But once she awakens in love..."

Kai Nightshade tiredly closed his eyes briefly, patting the soldier on the head, "You don't want Aurelia to leave either, right? That depends on whether my grandson has what it takes. If he really loses such a good daughter-in-law of mine, hmph, then you go bite him to death."

"Woof! Woof! Woof!" The soldier wagged his tail, responding enthusiastically.

Butler Lee pursed his lips and smiled. With Young Madam around, the house feels lively enough to be called a home, much better than the one living in the backyard who does nothing but stir up trouble.
