Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!
Chapter 441: Is It Deliberate Hype?
Aurelia turned her head to glance outside, said nothing, and stood up to change into her clothes.
The phone rang; it was Viscount Zhou calling, and she answered.
"Is the filming over? I'm here to pick you up from work," Viscount Zhou's voice came through the phone.
The background on his end was very noisy, Aurelia frowned and asked, "Where are you?"
"At the entrance of your crew." Viscount Zhou took a deep breath and cursed, "Damn! The entrance is blocked, the reporters are crazy. Wait a few minutes before coming out; I'll have someone clear them first."
"No need." Aurelia stopped him, "I actually have something to say."
"Aurelia, you wouldn't..." Viscount Zhou had a bad feeling.
Aurelia smiled silently and hung up the phone.
Amanda Fuller overheard their conversation and asked, "Aurelia, should I do light makeup for you?" For the camera, it's better to have some makeup.
Aurelia looked at herself in the mirror, her bare face clean, peach blossom eyes bright, a natural allure flowing in their clarity, lacking the sharp cold arrogance on camera.
"No need." Aurelia shook her head; this occasion is not suitable for makeup.
Amanda thought so too. Aurelia was very beautiful naturally, and with the divorce rumors spreading wildly online, regardless of the truth, wearing too much makeup would be used against her. She thought it over and put the makeup brush she had just taken out back down.
"Help me with my hair," Aurelia said.
"Sure."
After finishing her hair, Aurelia went out, her slender high heels accentuating her long, straight legs. She strode to the entrance, where reporters swarmed her with overwhelming questions making her head spin.
Amanda stood in front of Aurelia to stop the reporters from advancing further; seeing this, the staff quickly came to help block the reporters.
"Aurelia, there's a frenzy online saying you've divorced recently. Is that true? Just a while ago, news of your marriage was exposed; now divorce rumors are spreading. Is this intentional hype?"
"Wow!" Such sharp questions right from the start, the reporter's eyes flickered coldly.
Aurelia raised her eyebrows and looked at the reporter, who stared straight into her eyes; she couldn't recall ever offending this reporter, his face was unfamiliar.
She glanced at the badge he wore.
Easton Weekly, a past henchman of Eleanor Spencer.
Her red lips subtly curved, peach blossom eyes lifted, her sharp gaze fixed on the reporter's eyes.
The reporter felt his neck glow under her stare, his hand holding the microphone trembled, just moments ago he was assertive, now he's somewhat guilty.
Anyone could see he was paid to make things difficult; this is a known fact in their industry, secretly wondering: how will Aurelia handle this?
Aurelia rarely gave interviews; she'd never faced a surprise interview like this before. She was a celebrity new to the industry, without professional guidance, it'd be impossible to manage it.
If they remembered correctly, her agent was also a newcomer, right? Daring enough to choose a newcomer as her agent, that's quite bold.
However, they overlooked that although Amanda Fuller was inexperienced as an agent, she'd been in the entertainment industry for four or five years, having seen such situations before, she was well-practiced in handling them.
The reason she didn't interfere was that she realized Aurelia knew how to handle it.
