Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!
Chapter 450 450 Tricked
"Daisy, bringing a gift when visiting someone's new home is a tradition in Country Z," Albert explained.
Daisy mumbled, "What a hassle."
At this point, the water had boiled.
Aurelia Shaw took out some tea leaves she had brought and brewed tea for the two of them, serving it to them while pouring herself a cup as well.
Daisy curiously stared at the reddish water in her hands, took a sniff of its faint tea aroma, tried a sip, then another sip, and another sip... and couldn't stop.
With a cup in hand, Aurelia's lips curled into a faint smile as she leisurely watched Daisy drink half a cup of the red tea and said, "It seems you quite like this sort of thing." She borrowed her previous words.
Daisy realized she had inadvertently revealed her true thoughts, proudly lifted her chin, and gave Aurelia a condescending look, "This thing has some uses."
Aurelia's lips curved 'kindly,' "Forgot to remind you, you should drink this kind of water sparingly, too much will make pimples grow on your face."
Daisy froze with the tea at her lips, barely half a millimeter from her lips, halting abruptly, and her pretty face slowly cracked. She placed the teacup down suddenly and dashed to the mirror to carefully inspect every detail of her face.
She felt her face was slightly itchy; could it be that pimples were going to grow? Damn Aurelia, how could she serve her something like this to drink!
In the mirror, the pretty silhouette slowly stepped out. Daisy saw her blow on the hot tea and take a sip, shockingly widening her eyes, turning to look at her, her mouth agape enough to fit an egg, "You're crazy, why would you drink something like this? You're an actress, right? Don't you care about your own face?"
"Trust me, Daisy, she cherishes her face more than anyone," Albert walked out, shrugged, and looked sympathetically at his sister, "You've been tricked by her. This beverage is called tea in Country Z, and red tea is very good for the body; it doesn't cause pimples."
The expressions on Daisy's face were indescribably vivid, turning pale then red. She gave Aurelia a glaring look.
Aurelia clutched her stomach, laughing so hard she rocked back and forth, wiping tears from her eyes with slender fingers, her slightly red eyes playfully gazing at Daisy's distressed yet pretty face, eyes bright and beautiful.
Daisy stomped her foot in frustration and ran upstairs. Halfway up, she turned back to glare at her, saying in M Nation language, "Damn woman, you're really annoying!"
"Don't worry, she's not really angry," Albert patted Aurelia's shoulder.
Aurelia subtly distanced herself from the two, chuckling softly, "I know, she's so innocent that you just want to tease her a bit."
Innocent? It's the first time someone used that word to describe Daisy; perhaps that's why Daisy is unique to her.
After Daisy went upstairs, she didn't come down, and the sound of a piano began flowing, its soothing and elegant notes calming even the most agitated heart into tranquility.
Aurelia looked upstairs in amazement.
She hadn't expected Daisy to play the piano so well; each note seemed casual, yet when connected, it captivated and immersed the listener entirely. That's the prowess of a pianist.
She had annoyed Daisy, and in turn, Daisy casually played such a beautiful piano piece. Could it be that she had somehow unlocked her potential?

Upstairs.
Daisy nervously watched the man sitting at the piano, a black piano, and the handsome man in a white shirt standing tall. His long fingers were prettier and slimmer than a woman's, dancing and leaping over the white piano keys like a butterfly, so swiftly that they became a blur.
