Mason didn't respond, so Aurelia didn't press further and played with the cat in her arms.

Mason felt even more irritated. While he was sulking here, the woman who had angered him didn't seem to care at all.

Just as Aurelia was thoroughly enjoying playing with the cat, she heard a cold yet jealous voice near her ear.

She couldn't help but let a smile tug at the corners of her lips.

"Who are you talking about?" Aurelia pretended not to know and asked him back.

Mason tightened his grip on the steering wheel, his brows jumped, and he suppressed his annoyance, trying to speak as calmly as possible, "The guy who went into the hotel with you today."

"Didn't you see it yourself?" Aurelia said.

"Is he the man from the photo?"

The man in the photo looked younger, it must have been taken when he was quite young. Aurelia also looked very young then, but judging from his features, it was definitely the same man!

"What's your relationship with him? Is he your brother? Or someone you... used to know."

When he said "your," Mason still couldn't bring himself to say "first love," and awkwardly chose a different term.

He realized that he cared a lot.

He minded that she once had another man in her heart, and minded even more... whether she still liked that man now.

After saying this, Mason stealthily observed Aurelia's expression, noticing that she was just looking down, playing with the cat. He couldn't tell if she had heard him or not.

"Aurelia!" His voice was slightly deep, feeling that all his irritation had nowhere to go.

Aurelia's tone took a light turn, replying to him.

She realized that at some point, Mason had stopped the car, and she looked outside.

Hmm? Nightshade Residence?

Why did he bring her here?

"Mason, why did you bring me to the Nightshade Residence... mmm!"

Aurelia turned her head and saw Mason gently undo his seatbelt, leaning over, cupping her nape with his large hand, and kissing her hard.

"I called ahead for them to leave work early before coming back."

Aurelia's brow arched, "So what plans did you have before coming back?"

"To devour you," Mason said bluntly.

"I feel I should remind Mr. Nightshade, we're already divorced," Aurelia's chin lifted slightly, peach blossom eyes narrowing slightly, "But it seems Mr. Nightshade hasn't accepted this fact."

Mason looked at her fierce and brash little demeanor, holding back the urge to kiss her again.
