Aurelia Shaw didn't rush to eat, instead, she rested her chin on her hand and watched Caspian Parker.

It was the first time she'd cooked for Caspian, and even though she knew her cooking skills weren't bad, she still wanted to hear his thoughts.

"How is it?" Aurelia asked eagerly as Caspian took his first bite.

Seeing the light flickering in her eyes, Caspian curved his lips into a smile, "The taste is pretty good. I didn't expect that the little girl I once protected has grown up into an adult."

Listening to Caspian's teasing, Aurelia pouted and didn't respond to him. She lowered her head to look at her phone, eating while discussing work matters with Amanda Fuller.

Caspian's voice sounded above her, "Don't play with your phone while eating."

She ignored him.

At this moment, the phone vibrated twice.

An incoming call appeared.

It was a call from someone named Zhaobo.

Aurelia paused, her brow slightly furrowed, and answered it.

Zhaobo is the caretaker of her mother's cemetery. If he's calling at this time, it must be something important.

For some reason, she had a bad feeling.

"Miss, something has... happened!" Zhaobo opened with such a sentence.

The chair fell to the ground.

Aurelia stood up abruptly and walked out with big strides.

Caspian had already put down his chopsticks the moment she mentioned the word "cemetery," listening intently to her call.

He couldn't hear everything clearly, but he picked up a thing or two.

Someone dared to vandalize a deceased person's grave.

"I'll take you," Caspian said, grabbing his keys and following her to drive her to the cemetery.

On the way, Caspian glanced several times at Aurelia's tense face.

Her face was naturally cold and beautiful, and now with her intentional demeanor, she looked even colder. Her dark eyes were chilling, and all the spikes on her body were raised. Anyone unfamiliar with her would be frightened by her current appearance.

Caspian reached out and rubbed Aurelia's head.
