CHAPTER 146: THE PRODUCT PLANS

A2P2 must cater to both the players and the public.

They may be giving all their attention to the players right now, but the common people are still the majority mass of this world.

The world may have turned upside down, but the common people who still did not have ’superpowers’ or access to the system were the majority.

If they forget them, what was the whole point of gaining so much otherworldly knowledge and resources?

"The normal people...?" Miss Moon was confused, but the vice guildmaster understood the intentions of their guildmaster. "Are we going to make items for the common people as well?"

His words were spot on, so, a smile boomed on Izzy’s face as she interlocked her fingers and placed her chin on top of them, "Precisely."

Answered in a single word, the reply carried more weight than a thousand word long explanation.

"Monopoly starts when you have a common product everyone prefers over anything else, not when you have a finely crafted piece of artwork. We will target a different customer base completely."

That had always been the goal.

The vice guildmaster and the one in charge of all the production has simply just realised the depth of their guild’s motive.

"There are so many things we can produce with magic, you know? The common utensils that have magical functions, enchanted items that would cost far less to operate compared to what we have used right now, like the fridge with a cooling enchantment!

The daily utensils, diluted potions that we can sell as ’tonics’ for the common people that have long term and lasting effects, even medicines!"

The magic items and the products of magic engineering were something one could make by simply having a general idea and purpose.

Guilds right now were trying to make items that would be player centric, and that wasn’t a bad thing. The only thing they were missing was a point of view.

But, they would realise it right after someone does it first, and Trailblaze needed to pioneer this field before anyone else.

"While they are busy with the player products, we will come up with common, everyday products as well as better products for the players.

Since we have the means and brains to do so, it shouldn’t be impossible at all, don’t you think?" Izzy asked her two managers with a smile on her face.

The two of them, after all, were the ones who would do all the work while she was out on the field with the teams.

It was going to be their responsibility to look after these things and if they did their work right, she knew their guild would make headlines once again just like it had right now.

They needed to be simple but effective with their work, and that would be all there is to it.

[ "The next segment is about the mysterious appearance of the so called ’angel’ in the 12th city calamity battle as well as the final battle from the hidden stage." ]

Izzy was smiling at the two of them but the mention of the word ’angel’ caught her attention as she turned her head towards the blue screen once again.

[ "As you can see in both of these videos, the characteristics of these two individuals seem almost identical." ]

[ "The golden light wings and the blazing halo are clear representations of what the game experts are calling an Angel, one of the most powerful species that reside in the higher plains of [Heaven] and serve different divinities." ]

The videos were now public and everyone was seeing them on daily bases without knowing who this person actually was.

[ "It has been confirmed that they are a Player. The items on them are clear indications of it." ]

Someone must have been pretty sharp to notice the disguised items that were easy to miss. It was not obvious that they were items since KiRA turned them into formal clothing that would match the dignity of a Celestial.

But it was already revealed that he wasn’t an actual angel but a player who simply had extraordinary powers.

[ "The experts have theorised that this individual could be an Avatar of a god, or someone who possessed a very special item or skill. It might also be a possibility that the player somehow managed to receive a class related to Holy power and grabbed attention of one of the divinities of the tower." ]

Izzy nodded as she listened to this. He had indeed gained attention of many of the divinities for various reasons. The Ruler of Lust was after him as well, asking him to become his property— They were after both KiRA and Izzy after they did the ’dirty’ quest for the demon.

Just thinking back to that still gave her goosebumps.

[ "The identity of the hidden player remains a mystery and we await their next appearance. Will we see them on the 4th floor? We shall find out soon..." ]

’Sadly, he’s going out into a deadly desert to risk his life, again.’

The 4th floor was available now and many had already ventured into the floor of the tests.

They needed to demonstrate what they had learned on the 3rd floor and once a certain number of players passed, the floor would be cleared.

It was an easy floor, especially after the great experiences they gained in the final fight. It may have been available only to a few of them, but they still learned a lot through that and gained a lot more.

And putting even them aside, the quest on the 3rd floor was already so difficult that the players’ current state was more than enough for the 4th as well as the 5th floor.

They may not be strong enough to venture into a field like the northern desert, but they were still good enough to clear the next few floors.

"Alright, enough about the products and stuff. Tell me about the guild. What has been going on since we were gone?"

As the guildmaster, she needed to do her work.

Slacking off wasn’t going to be easy with KiRA gone. If anything, working would be the perfect distraction to keep his eternal thoughts away for a few moments...
