She was a humanoid being, making her superior even among the demons who did not necessarily have a humanoid form.

Those who had a humanoid form possessed stats that were higher compared to the demons of the same level. Also, the leveling system among the demons was different just like it was different for Unity.

The demoness was a being that should have been on the higher floor, on the (90th Floor), the Hell. However there is a certain rupture in the hell that occasionally sends the demons around the floors randomly.

It is not by their own will that they travel to the lower floors. These unique kinds of ruptures exist on various floors and they make the resident’s lives difficult.

There is one on the (99th Floor) as well and that rupture is one of the most difficult thing to deal with since it doesn’t send you to the lower floors but to the highest floor where you will most certainly die without clearing the 99th floor and obtaining the most important authority for survival on the 100th floor.

However that is not the same thing for these demons who find themselves on the lower floors and have no way to back up.

’What the demons do after finding themselves in the lower floors with all the restrictions is also simple– they do what their nature best allows them.’

Not all demons are subordinates of the seven deadly sins and not all sins are demons. KiRA wasn’t sure whether the Original Owners of the thirty skills would be the same in this tower or whether they exist here as well, but since Balphogore exists here, the chances of them being the same were higher.

But then again, he cannot be sure of that.

There may be some differences that he wasn’t aware of right now and the demoness that he was mistaken for Balphogore might just be a different being altogether.

So, he did not reach any conclusions.

The opponent right now wasn’t the demon king of Sloth but a subordinate of Lust. the powers that it had were all restricted, but that did not mean it was any weaker than the lowest class demons of hell.

’And she’s strong as well.’

She had a human-like body with curved horns. The limbs that she had were also like the humans.

She wasn’t thin or too big. She was attractive, she had long green hair and black eyes without pupils attractive enough to make any human fall for her in an instant.

Had it not been KiRA’s natural resistance for demons thanks to his Holy Power, he would also fall for this demoness’ charm.

Zyon had his mental barrier while Izzy’s mental fortitude was simply a little too strong to be shaken by something so unimpressive. Her unique skill made her resistant to most of the common debuffs that existed within the tower as well.

The demoness, however, could have been an object of worship had it been anyone else in their positions.

Since their minds were connected with Iz’s skill, KiRA instructed them telepathically while all three of them got ready for battle.

Or at least, they tried to prepare themselves.

A powerful voice different from the one they had been hearing until now echoed from above, and their eyes shifted from each other to the demoness who looked a little sad.

[ "I am right here and you’re chatting amongst yourselves?" ]

The demon was using her demonic voice, the proof of their special demonic lineage. The skill made anyone in the vicinity follow the will of the demon.

It wasn’t easy to resist this skill. But they weren’t just any simple challengers.

"Viv!"

A golden light covered them and they were released from the restrictive effect of the {Demonic voice}. The Demoness had a name but she was still just a normal demon and not a noble.

Had she been a noble, KiRA didn’t know how they would have defeated her on this floor. But that was not the case.

{ "Hmmm? What?" }

They had Unity, a being that possessed just the right skills to help them fight against a demoness. And to make things better, KiRA had something all demons despised.

{ "Oh!" }

The demoness noticed it late since she was too busy thinking how she’d use Zyon after she takes control of us.

{ "That disgusting power...! You’re one of them!" }

Holy power was the complete opposite of the Demonic power. The two powers were opposing in nature. With the Addition of [Purity] KiRA was something all demons would call a–.

{ "You Disgusting gutter rat!" }

Yeah, that. The demons despised holy power more than anything and Purity was something all Evil opposed.

The Demons were corrupt by nature and they carried demonic power so the beings who possessed both Holy power and Purity were their archenemies.

If that wasn’t enough, there was something all demons feared in this party’s possession.

{ "Wait... that sword..." }

Zyon carried a Holy Sword on him, the weapon that was the worst match against a demon. Unexpectedly, defeating the boss monster had provided them with just the right tool to take care of this demoness.

Also, neither Zyon nor KiRA stood as the worst match against this demoness.

{ "And that... that... what is that thing?" }

It was a small bird sitting on KiRA’s shoulders.

A bird with the skill that nullified the effects of a demon’s most dangerous trait, their voice.

KiRA could tell the kind of horror that the demoness must have witnessed when it looked at the golden eyes of this little bird with the {Depth of eyes}, a powerful appraisal skill.

’Accessing Unity’s information was nearly impossible for a demon of her level.’

But even though she could not see the status window, just like how those with {Mana sensitivity} could see the different natures of Mana, those with {Depth of eyes} could see the true nature of a being.

’In her eyes, Uni must be a fear she had never experienced in her long life...’

Mere presence of a being as pure as Unity would be enough to eradicate a demon of her level. So even in her restricted form, Unity was a horror that no demon would want to go against.

The demoness knew this was dangerous. That the party that was standing before her was no ordinary group of humans.

She had already sensed the danger that she was in so instead of waiting for anything, she vanished from her place.

Her disappearance announced the beginning of their battle.

A battle where KiRA needed to do something he had been famous for in his tower days— provocation.
