"Actually, spending the night in the mountains isn’t too bad, right? Blowing in the autumn wind, eating wild game, sitting around the campfire, breathing fresh air – there’s a unique charm to it," one male student said cheerfully.

"Wait till the wolves show up, then you’ll know what kind of flavor it is," Sisi couldn’t help but burst his bubble.

"Wolves? Are there wolves here?" Li Anqi asked, her face turning pale.

"How could there not be? There are wolves on the mountain and wolves below. Do you think those thugs will let us go?" Sisi rolled her eyes at her.

Sisi’s words caused everyone who had been relaxing to tense up again. Yes, those people surely wouldn’t give up so easily.

In a village house, Chen Liu was applying medicinal wine to his wounds, cursing under his breath, "Damn, that Shui Mei is too vicious, almost crippled me. Teacher Xu arranged for four male students to take turns on night watch, while the other students took the time to rest. Sisi, worried about the two male students on watch, feigned an inability to sleep and joined them.

Sisi quickly handed the wooden clubs she found to Zhu Yunxiu and Mo Liu. Seeing the other students still standing dumbly, she shouted irritably, "What are you dazed for? Waiting to die?"

The students, frightened by the number mentioned by Shangguan, came back to their senses, those with wooden arrows took arrows, and those with rocks took rocks, ready to act.
