Luciel knew very well how dangerous people are, so he didn’t refuse to take the antidotes and even asked Jacob to make more and improve them when he had time.

"Oh, it seems that the antidote is working properly," Luciel commented.

"Yes, thank you very much. I will certainly repay it after going back to the north base."

"Of course, you should pay me back later."

Luciel wouldn’t refuse such repayment even though he wasn’t the one who made the antidote.

Of course, he wouldn’t still give half of the payment to Jacob because he was the one who worked hard to make the antidote.

"I only have three. I can give you one more vial, but I need to keep the other one for emergencies."

He had to store the antidotes he had for future emergencies.

He was only willing to give 1 more because he knew that the soldier was worried about his companion who was beside him.

They’re also soldiers, so Luciel knew that they could at least be helpful later.

"Thank you very much!" The soldier said again.

Luciel gave the vial to the man, and the man immediately gave it to the person beside him.

They had to wait for the others to wake up and for the other soldier to move, so they continued to chat.

They also finally introduced their names; the man’s name was Holden, and the person beside him was Milo.

He also learned that they have two more companions, but they were placed in another room.

Holden also said that more people came after the earthquake because the place they were in wasn’t as badly affected compared to other areas.

The other people with them were all individuals who had arrived in the past two weeks.

Luciel also learned that the room they were in was actually one of the farthest rooms from the slaughter area.

The people who were placed in the rooms closer to the slaughter area were the ones the camp members would kill first.

Luciel asked how he knew all the things he told him and learned that they would inspect the quality of people in the room almost every two days.

It’s common for people from other rooms to be transferred to other rooms. So, he had learned more things from the people who had been transferred from other rooms.

Holden also said that he had been transferred thrice already.

Luciel also asked why the others didn’t bother talking even though they were already awake and were listening to them.

Holden said that they probably don’t have enough energy to talk because they had been hungry for a long time.

Holden said that they were only given a small amount of food every two days and they only had very little water every day.

As for the people who were screaming in the other rooms, Holden said that they were probably the people who were very near the slaughter area.

When he heard what Holden said, Luciel immediately understood that the people in the farther rooms were quieter because they knew they still had more days to live, while those near the slaughter area were more frantic because they knew they would probably die soon.

They continued talking for a while, and when Milo was finally able to move, Dan also woke up.

Dan immediately became alert when he woke up and then asked, "What happened? Where are we?"

"They used sleeping gas on us and then locked us in here. I’ve already removed all the chains they put on us. You should get ready—we’re leaving as soon as everyone else wakes up."
