Transmigrated: The Lycan King's Pet
Chapter 105 Karma
CHAPTER 105: CHAPTER 105 KARMA
The moment the men sat up, their eyes widened in horror as the realization of what they had done came crashing down.
Blood smeared their necks and chests. One of them had dried blood on his shoulder where Maddie had clung desperately to him. But the most alarming part wasn’t the shame on their faces; it was the red marks on Maddie’s neck.
She had been marked by the three men.
"What the hell have you done..." Alpha Caelen’s voice was hoarse, almost breathless.
Maddie stretched herself lazily, her eyes fluttering open. They were all naked, but there was no haste to cover their bodies, as it was normal for werewolves to be naked.
Maddie stared dazedly at the canopy of the trees. Filtered rays of sun scattered across her body. Then she turned her head to her side, staring at us as if we weren’t real.
Then her eyes widened, as if realization had hit her like a freight train.
"AAAARRGGHH!!!"
Her scream echoed through the bush like a trumpet.
I pursed my lips into a thin line, forcing myself not to laugh. It was hilarious seeing her scream in embarrassment for the first time in my two lives. When they say karma is a bitch, this is what they were referring to.
I bit my lower lip, seeing how she covered her neck and chest frantically. There were mate marks on the two sides of her neck, and one just above her left peach.
Maddie burst out in an ear-splitting cry; all her hope had just gone down the drain. As the daughter of an Alpha, she had plans to marry to become a Luna. Not only was that chance taken away from her, but she was mated to three insignificant betas.
Her dream to become Damon’s Luna was gone. I folded my hands behind my back before turning to my so-called father and his wife.
"Mother... Father!" she screamed, trying to clean the marks off her body. But it only made her groan in pain because the marks had not yet healed.
Evelyn’s lips trembled, her hands trembling as they flew to her mouth. Her eyes burned red, disappointment covering her like a blanket.
Alpha Caelen shook in anger. He walked forward toward Maddie, who was now crying her eyes out.
SLAP.
"You wretch," he growled.
The force of his slap turned her head to the other side. Her wailing turned silent. She sniffled, her fingers digging into the earth.
He slapped his precious daughter. I thought she was untouchable. He must be really disappointed in her. So this would have been the way Damon looked at me. I bet he would have ripped my arms and limbs away before burying me alive.
"How dare you bring disgrace to me!" Alpha Caelen growled, his fangs elongated.
Maddie didn’t turn her head back to him. Tears streamed down her face.
"Father... I was..."
"It is Alpha to you," he growled louder.
She closed her eyes. "I was drugged. Get revenge for me... and they all took advantage of me," she sniffled, pointing her hands at the three men.
Hearing her words, Alpha Caelen’s eyes darkened. He turned to face the three men. His aura slammed through the air like a tidal wave.
The three men fell on their knees immediately.
"Alpha... that is not true. She threatened us to take her, or else she would have our heads," one of them with light brown hair blurted out.
"LIAR... HOW DARE YOU MARK ME?!" Maddie’s scream pierced through the air, almost splitting our eardrums.
One of them with blond-brown hair crawled forward.
"Alpha... you know no one would dare take advantage of Miss Maddie. She begged us... she said she was burning alive. When we helped her... she insisted on us marking her, saying the burning sensation wasn’t going away. Alpha... I have been nothing but loyal. I’d never hurt your daughter. She made us do it."
"Are you calling my daughter a liar?" Evelyn chipped in, her voice trembling with emotion.
"We dare not," one of the men with short black hair shook his head. He looked like he was the youngest among them.
"But we are not lying. She ordered us to mark her. She ordered us." His voice was more of a pleading one.
"You all will be punished for taking advantage of my daughter. But you will not be killed because you all are mated to her. So she will be your mate," Alpha Caelen said, his eyes welling up, but not a single tear fell.
"FATHER!!!"
"CAELEN!"
Evelyn and Maddie screamed at the same time in disapproval.
"I will not be mated to low scums. I have Alpha blood in me. You don’t expect me to be mated to scums! I should be Luna. That is my FATE! I refuse to accept them as MY MATES!" she scrambled to her feet, but her legs wobbled. Streaks of blood stained her thighs.
Seeing this, Evelyn burst out in a heart-wrenching wail.
"WHY? WHY?... WHYYY?!" she cried, hitting her chest. Her shoulders shook violently.
I pursed my lips together. If only there was some popcorn here... this was more entertaining than any film series. THIS IS LIVE.
Maddie turned to her mother, but she quickly averted her eyes. The shame was too much for her to look her mother in the eyes.
Then the sound of claws elongating from her fingers filled the air. She walked toward the three men, hatred and disgust filling her eyes.
"What do you think you are about to do?" Alpha Caelen asked, his brows furrowed so deeply that they were almost meeting.
"Killing them. That is the only way to correct this mistake... this scandal," she muttered, her voice dripping with malicious intent.
The men’s eyes widened in horror. The bushes seemed to seize their breath, as if waiting to witness the bloodshed.
My heart stilled in shock. If you lose a mate, isn’t the pain so unbearable that some werewolves even die from grief? While others are left with a lifelong scar? But she is mated to three. Isn’t that like three times the pain? Or is my calculation wrong?
She stopped midway. She turned as if her instinct told her to... her eyes locked with mine.
And for a second, I swore the air turned colder.
’Uh-oh.’
