CHAPTER 258: CHAPTER 258; SHE IS SPOILING YOU ALL....
"Okay, I will tag along." Huo Ting Cheng was already done with his food; he wasn’t a fan of food that much, but all of them were already done eating.
"Ahhh? You don’t have work to do?" Tang Fei was surprised by the way he was loitering around so idly the entire day; this wasn’t him. This is not him, he has never been this free.
"I have nothing to do for today, so I will accompany you." He actually was worried, and he couldn’t trust the guards fully; he had to be there even if he had to be behind the curtains; he didn’t care; he was just worried.
"It’s okay." Tang Fei didn’t have any issues with that, after all, she was a married woman with a man. She couldn’t think of running away now, where to? It’s not like there was a place Huo Ting Cheng wouldn’t find her. Running away was just a hopeless and fruitless act.
"Momma, let’s go..." The kids got up from their dining chairs.
They got up and walked over to the underground parking lot, the guards weren’t done putting the crates away into the van. Tang Fei stood by the back of one of the delivery vans, adjusting the ribbon on one of the crates.
The kids also came over and stood just behind their mother, quietly and well-mannered, gazing at the guards who were loading the vans.
Huo Ting Cheng boarded his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Passenger Van, holding his tablet while his mobile phone lay down in the empty space. Huo Wu, Huo Qi, and Huo Zheng joined him.
From the outside, you could tell it was a brand-new van and probably arrived two or three days ago. This man was a fan of collecting some fine cars in the market. He truly did love himself and loved his comfort.
"You all can go ahead and board the van while I finish up here." She directed them over to the van and they all went over. Twilight was left behind but Tang Fei directed her over.
Qin Xinyu and Twilight went over and boarded the van, sticking together closer to Xu Xie; it was the first time they were getting seated like that in one van with Huo Ting Cheng. This man was ice cold and had this frigid face, his features would only soften around Tang Fei.
Of course, they feared him; they didn’t even gaze in his direction; at the dining room, it was easier since everyone concentrated on their meals, but here, they were seated and faced each other while having absolutely nothing to do.
Tang Fei boarded next and all the vans drove out with several guards using Jeeps to escort them.
She wanted to sit closer to Xu Xie but Huo Ting Cheng held her arm and dragged her closer to him. He was seated closer to the driver’s seat and Tang Fei sat next to her as there was some space.
"Daddy, how about I sit closer to you? Let me keep you company, I rarely see you." Minghao gazed at his father who was gazing at his tablet, her eyes gentle and sweet.
"All right." He couldn’t decline when she was so respectful and well-behaved while gazing at him so adorably.
Minghao rushed over and sat between his legs, gazing at the tablet screen and checking out what he was reading. It had just some newsletters of business today and what was currently happening.
Feihao, Fenghao, and Zhihao also went over, sticking around him, seeing how the kids wanted to cling to him; Tang Fei moved a little to have a chat with Xu Xie while her husband handled the kids.
"Ting Cheng, I don’t have any money and I promised to gift the servants who had assisted me previously." She blushed recalling that she had gotten drunk and hadn’t managed to fulfill her end of promise. She couldn’t be accused of going back on her promise right?
"I already did! You don’t have to worry about that!" He did it early in the morning before they went back to their quarters to rest. They had done a good job yesterday and they deserved a tip.
"Hehehe... Thank you." She hadn’t expected him to handle it so seamlessly.
Huo Ting Cheng wanted his wife closer but the kids were surrounding him and hovering around like bees. Imagine having more triplets, he wouldn’t be able to handle all those. He would go crazy.
He kept the tablet away, "are you going over to the military academy camp tomorrow?"
"Yeah! I will drop the kids off before checking out the talent shows in the different locations that are happening tomorrow! About later, I don’t know, I don’t have a plan yet." One thing she had to keep in mind was making sure she was present for the kids all the time and for all their important days and steps in life.
"Ooohh Daddy! Aren’t you escorting us to the military academy too? You know we won’t be back until the end of the week or month!" Feihao gazed at their father his lips pouting. This man didn’t know how to be sweet like their mother.
"She is spoiling you all!" Huo Ting Cheng glared at them. He had noticed Tang Fei wasn’t good with waking up in the morning, she was more of an afternoon person and always active in the afternoon.
"Mommy, are you saying that you won’t escort me to school? Remember, I’m going back there after withdrawing from the military! I need to register afresh, the same with Qin Xinyu!" Minghao also pouted her lips gazing at her mother worriedly. Could this also mean her mother would see her as someone inferior?
"Aaaahh! I forgot that you would be reporting back to school tomorrow... How about this, we will send them to the military early tomorrow morning before sending the two of you over to school, and then I will handle the talent shows later on!" She had actually forgotten. And then, Minghao was having a low self-esteem moment and needed close monitoring. As a parent, she needed to be present.
Being a parent, wife, and businesswoman wasn’t a walk in the park.
"All right, don’t burden your mother, I can manage all that by myself!" Huo Ting Cheng didn’t like seeing his wife overworking herself. It would be too hectic before she even gets to handle her talent shows. He actually wanted to stop her from handling that project but thought otherwise, he didn’t want to limit her.
"It’s okay, I will manage it tomorrow." She couldn’t miss any of that. Their emotions were developing and as a mother, she had to be present in all those important activities of their lives.
"Master, we have gotten over to the orphanage..." Huo Qi notified them as the van came to a standstill.
The doors of the van slid open with a soft click; they alighted one by one, and you could see the several guards already positioned all over the place.
He had to make sure his woman was safe wherever she went.
Huo Ting Cheng stepped out first, scanning the orphanage compound while he slightly nodded at his guards.
The place seemed to be a bit too quiet for an orphanage taking in kids; probably, most of the children could be inside taking naps or doing something else.
She followed closely behind him with the kids who were letting their eyes wander around the place. They were coming to an orphanage for the very first time. Even Fenghao and Feihao hadn’t been to the orphanage; they preferred the streets to there as so much happened within the silent walls of the orphanage homes.
She adjusted the hem of her dress as they strolled through the stone pavement.
"Mama, is this what the orphanage looks like? Where are the kids? Why does this place look so tiny and old!" Zhihao walked beside her wondering.
The place had a tiny compound they could use as a playing ground and just some old houses that seemed to be their residing area.
"Yeah! Most of these places are like this when they don’t have investors or donors supporting them. It ain’t easy to support several kids until they grow up, it needs funds! A lot of funds as several kids join the place as time goes by!" She explained because she knew, they knew so little when it comes to these things. She also wanted to teach them to have some empathy.
