CHAPTER 393: CHAPTER 393; MEN HAVING A CHAT
Huo Ting Cheng could be a cold and ruthless businessman, but whenever it boiled down to his wife, he would do anything right to satisfy her, even if he had to learn.
"Spice things up how?" Xie Yuxuan leaned forward with interest, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Are we talking new locations, new techniques, or...?"
"All of the above," Huo Ting Cheng replied smoothly. "A change of scenery does wonders. Different environment, different mood. The ocean villa has that private beach, the outdoor shower, the infinity pool overlooking the water..."
"Ah, I see where this is going," Zo Zho Yu said with a soft laugh. "Strategic location selection."
"Exactly. You can’t tell me making love under the stars on a private beach isn’t better than the same bedroom routine every night," Huo Ting Cheng said, taking a sip of his drink.
He surprised everyone present, even though he didn’t know much, he had still taken the time to learn these things.
"Fair point," Li Junfeng conceded. "Though I have to ask, don’t you worry about... performance pressure? When you build up a whole romantic getaway, there’s an expectation that comes with it."
"That’s why you don’t overthink it," Huo Ting Cheng replied confidently. "Women don’t want a choreographed performance. They want spontaneity, passion, and feeling desired. Sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones, pulling her into the shower, bending her over the kitchen counter in the middle of cooking dinner..."
"Careful... Careful..." Secretary Li interjected dryly, though he was smiling. "Some of us are trying to eat."
The men laughed.
"But seriously," Mo Tianyu said, "you don’t have to go somewhere else to spice things up. You’ve got this massive mansion. You could recreate that excitement right here, different rooms, different scenarios. Why spend the time traveling?"
"Because," Huo Ting Cheng explained, "when you’re home, there are always distractions. Work calls, household staff, and children knocking on doors at inappropriate moments. You can’t fully disconnect. But when you’re away, truly away, it’s just the two of you. No interruptions, no responsibilities. You can focus entirely on each other."
"He makes a good point," Xie Yuxuan agreed. "My wife and I had our best reconnection when we went to that resort in Bali. Something about being away from everything familiar... we felt like newlyweds again. Couldn’t keep our hands off each other."
"See? That’s what I’m talking about," Huo Ting Cheng said. "You need that escape. That freedom to just be a man and a woman, not executives and parents and all the other roles we play."
"So what’s your strategy?" Zo Zho Yu asked with genuine curiosity. "Do you plan these things out, or do you just wing it?"
"A bit of both," Huo Ting Cheng admitted. "I’ll have some things prepared, a romantic dinner, good wine, and the right atmosphere. But the actual... intimacy? That has to be natural. You read her mood, respond to what she wants. Sometimes she wants slow and romantic, sometimes she wants something more intense and primal. You have to pay attention."
"Primal, huh?" Mo Tianyu raised an eyebrow. "So we’re talking about...."
"We’re talking about keeping your wife satisfied and interested," Huo Ting Cheng cut him off smoothly. "Which means not getting stuck in a rut. Variety is key. Different positions, different pacing, different levels of intensity. And communication, you have to know what she enjoys."
"Does Tang Fei actually tell you what she wants?" Li Junfeng asked. "Most women I know are... subtle about those things."
Tang Fei was his wife and it was because they were like his blood brothers, "women are all the same, shy, can’t express themselves with honesty," Huo Ting Cheng admitted. "But I learned to read her body language. The way she breathes, the sounds she makes, how she moves. You pay attention to those cues, and you learn what drives her crazy."
"That’s actually good advice," Secretary Li said thoughtfully. "Most men are too focused on their own pleasure to notice their partner’s responses."
"Rookie mistake," Huo Ting Cheng said. "The goal is mutual satisfaction. If she’s not enjoying it, neither are you. Simple as that."
"So this honeymoon," Xie Yuxuan said, steering back to the original topic, "what’s the game plan? How long are you thinking?"
"At least a week," Huo Ting Cheng replied. "Maybe longer if things go well. The villa is completely private, no neighbors, no staff unless we call for them. Just us, the ocean, and unlimited time."
"Sounds exhausting," Zo Zho Yu joked. "How many times a day can one man....."
"More than you’d think when you’re properly motivated," Huo Ting Cheng interrupted with a smirk. "And when you have all day to recover between rounds."
"Recovery?" Mo Tianyu laughed. "Listen to him! Making it sound like a marathon."
"In some ways, it is," Huo Ting Cheng said unapologetically. "But it’s a marathon worth running. Besides, it’s not just about the physical act. It’s the build-up, the anticipation. Teasing her throughout the day, making her wait, making her want it. By the time you actually get to it, she’s already halfway there."
"Foreplay," Li Junfeng nodded knowingly. "Underrated but essential."
"Exactly. Most men rush through it or skip it entirely. Big mistake. Take your time, explore, tease. Make her beg for it. That’s when the real fun begins."
"And Tang Fei responds well to that approach?" Xie Yuxuan asked, though there was a hint of amusement in his professional tone that suggested he was enjoying this rare glimpse of his brother’s personal life, but didn’t know, the perfect and seemingly knowing Huo Ting Cheng hadn’t engaged in sex with Tang Fei after that night she had been set up.
"Let’s just say," Huo Ting Cheng replied with a satisfied smile, "she doesn’t complain."
The men laughed again, the conversation flowing easily despite, or perhaps because of, the intimate nature of the topic. This was the kind of discussion that only happened among trusted friends, behind closed doors, away from judgmental ears.
"Alright, I have a question," Xie Yuxuan said. "Fantasy fulfillment, yes or no?"
"Depends on the fantasy," Huo Ting Cheng replied. "If it’s something we’re both comfortable with, why not? Life’s too short to be boring in bed."
"Role-playing?" Mo Tianyu suggested with a grin.
"If the mood strikes," Huo Ting Cheng shrugged. "Stranger at a bar, boss and secretary, that sort of thing. It can be fun if you commit to it."
"Public places?" Zo Zho Yu asked daringly.
"Semi-public," Huo Ting Cheng corrected. "Private beach at night, empty office after hours. Somewhere with a slight risk of getting caught, but not an actual danger of it. The thrill adds something."
"You’ve thought about this," Li Junfeng observed.
"I think about a lot of things," Huo Ting Cheng replied. "Including how to keep my marriage exciting and fulfilling for both of us. It’s important. A satisfying intimate life affects everything else: mood, stress levels, and overall happiness. Ignore it, and you’ll end up with a cold, distant marriage. Invest in it, and everything else gets easier."
"That’s actually pretty wise," Secretary Li said. "Most people don’t think about it that strategically."
"Everything in life requires strategy," Huo Ting Cheng said. "Even pleasure. Especially pleasure."
"So basically," Xie Yuxuan summarized, "you’re planning a week-long sexcation with your wife, disguised as a romantic honeymoon."
"It’s not disguised," Huo Ting Cheng corrected with a slight smile. "It is a romantic honeymoon. The sex is just... a very enjoyable component of it. Along with good food, beautiful scenery, quality time together, and actual conversation. It’s about reconnecting on every level."
"Fine, fine," Mo Tianyu conceded. "But admit it, the sex is the main draw."
Huo Ting Cheng laughed. "I’m not going to lie and say it isn’t a significant factor. But it’s not just about physical release. It’s about intimacy, connection, vulnerability. When you’re truly intimate with someone, not just physically but emotionally, that’s when you really know them."
The conversation paused as everyone considered that.
"That got surprisingly deep," Zo Zho Yu observed.
"Sex is deep," Huo Ting Cheng said simply. "When it’s done right, anyway. When it’s just mechanical, meaningless fucking, then sure, it’s shallow. But when there’s a genuine connection, a genuine emotion behind it? That’s profound."
"I’ll drink to that," Li Junfeng said, raising his glass.
The others followed suit, toasting to connection, to intimacy, to the complicated, wonderful, frustrating institution of marriage.
