Transmigration Into A Novel: Save The Second Male Lead
Chapter 176: Framed
CHAPTER 176: CHAPTER 176: FRAMED
Huo Fei fell to her knees instantly, screaming. "Brother, you can’t let Huo Feng deal with me. I’m your sister."
Huo Mingjie’s expression didn’t change. Instead, he pocketed his hands. "There’s nothing I can do. You’re dead meat. Don’t provoke Huo Yan anymore."
Huo Fei gasped. "Brother, please—"
"That’s enough." He cut her off sharply. "You have done enough. I think you should lay low for a while. And please, don’t do anything stupid. Even Father wouldn’t be able to do anything if you try something stupid."
Without looking back at her, Huo Mingjie walked out of the dorm room leaving behind a despondent Huo Fei.
"H-how could this happen? Brother... he doted on me the most. He won’t let Huo Feng harm me, would he?"
Huo Fei mumbled under her breath. Her face twisted into something dark.
"Fine. If that’s what they want, I won’t go down alone."
Her tone carried a trace of menace and brutality. She searched the room, and her eyes landed on her phone. A twisted smile appeared on her lips as she rushed to pick it up.
"Don’t blame me. You all forced me."
’I never thought I’d be needing this doctored footage. But it’s all good.’ She thought to herself with closed eyes. When she opened them again, her eyes were red with rage.
-----------------------
Huo Yan was in one of the empty classes, studying when her phone buzzed. She picked it up, and a smile appeared on her face when she saw who was calling.
"Yun, you called. What’s the issue? I thought you had practicals today."
Huo Yan’s bubbly voice resounded.
"Yanyan, where are you?" Song Yun’s urgent voice came from the other end.
"The class next to the art room. Why? What’s the issue? Why do you sound so tense?" Huo Yan asked, a bad feeling slowly creeping into her chest.
"Just stay there, and don’t move. I’ll be right there." He instructed.
"Yun, what’s the—"
Before she could complete her statement, the line went dead. Song Yun had disconnected the call.
Huo Yan stared at the darkened phone with a confused expression. "What’s happening?" She murmured under her breath.
Her eyes flashed. "Did Huo Fei do something again?" She asked herself and she immediately went into the school’s forum.
What she saw made her eyes widen.

In addition to the article, there was also a video.
Huo Yan’s heart raced, her fingers trembled as she played the video. What sounded afterwards were lewd sounds, and moaning!
"No!" She screamed, throwing the phone to the table. "This isn’t me, I didn’t do this."
Her chest rose and fell as she shot up to her feet.
All of a sudden, the door opened and Song Yun walked in.
He saw Huo Yan holding and shaking her head. He sighed before walking in.
"Yanyan," he called out tentatively..
Huo Yan sharply turned, and her shoulders dropped, as she let out a sigh of relief seeing him. Song Yun was like a light illuminating her dark part.
Without hesitation, she rushed to him. "Yun, that isn’t me. I don’t know who’s framing me. You have got to believe me."
She held his hands tightly, her eyes searching his. A hint of desperation flashed through her eyes. If anyone was against her, Song Yun wouldn’t. She hoped he’d believe her.
Song Yun was silent for a while and with each second that passed by, the more Huo Yan was heartbroken.
"You... you don’t trust me?" She took a step back, tears filling her eyes.
Song Yun’s brows creased. "What? No! I trust you completely. I know you weren’t the one in the video. You don’t have a birth mark on your neck." He blurted out.
Huo Yan’s eyes widened. "Yes! That’s true! I don’t have a birth mark. That means I can prove my innocence."
The desperation from earlier was replaced with renewed hope.
"But wait, how did you notice the birth mark?" Her eyes narrowed as she stared at him accusingly.
Song Yun held her by her arms before saying. "I wanted to prove your innocence. I had to thoroughly analyze the tape. Don’t worry, I’ve asked someone to look into it."
"I think I know who did it." Huo Yan said, her face dark with fury.
Song Yun stared at her.
"Huo Fei." They said simultaneously.
Song Yun’s grip on her tightened. Huo Fei had crossed the line repeatedly. She’d pay for it.
----------------
Huo Fei was seated in the University’s cafeteria as she listened to the conversation from different people.
She snickered. "Hmm. Her reputation has finally been ruined. Miss. Perfect, who would save you now?"
A soft laugh escaped her lips as she picked up her fork.
"Your brother?" She asked herself, then shook her head. "Nah. Your Sister-in-law? She’d be disappointed."
"Your boyfriend?" A crazy laugh escaped her lips. "Not a chance. I have ruined you and this is the best revenge I could ever get."
Her laugh attracted a few ladies who approached her.
"Huo Fei, Huo Yan is your cousin. Are you aware of the video circulating around the campus?" The one who seemed to be the leader questioned with folded arms.
Huo Fei’s expression changed. Forcing a few tears into her eyes, she said. "Huo Yan is my cousin, yes. But we are not close." She paused, discretely checking their expressions.
Dabbing her eyes, she continued. "Although we are not close, I never expected my cousin would do something shameful. She has actually soiled our family name."
She cried dramatically, but was secretly overjoyed. ’That is good. Everyone would see for themselves that Miss Little Perfect isn’t so perfect anymore.’ ’Cry Fei, cry. They always love a victim.’
The girls exchanged glances. Huo Fei was crying. It seemed the damage this time around was significant.
"Then, we don’t need such a filthy woman in our university. My dad knows the Dean. I’ll have him talk to her. Someone like Huo Yan who is dirty shouldn’t be in our school. She’d only ruin the school’s reputation."
"I dare you to say that again!"
The cafeteria froze instantly. Forks hung in mid-air, and everyone turned pale.
