CHAPTER 214: I’M SEARCHING FOR SOMEONE

"Don’t start." Ki-hoon simply said, acting like he didn’t care and Seo-Jun cackled.

"Well, if you don’t want him anymore, I can help you take good care of him." Seo-Jun said but Ki-hoon did not hold any expression like he would keel into his provocation.

This part of Ki-hoon was what amused Seo-Jun a lot.

He looked like he didn’t care but he definitely cared a lot.

"Ah, speaking of which," Jin-Yeok spoke up. "I heard a rumor going around, youngest."

"Don’t call me youngest if you don’t want me to call you an old man, old man." Min-Cheol said, smiling at him but that was a threat.

"What rumor?" Seo-Jun asked.

"Wow, someone like you hasn’t heard of it?" Jin-Yeok asked, surprised.

"Well, I’ve been rather busy." Seo-Jun said, licking his lips mischievously.

Yeah, anyone could tell he was putting his ’little brother’ to work.

"Anyway, what about this rumor? It seems exciting." Seo-Jun said. "Did you get yourself a lover or something?"

"No, but I got something more interesting." Min-Cheol said. "I got a student."

"Huh? Are you role-playing? If you need the uniforms, I can help you with that." Seo-Jun said. Everything was just so kinky with him.

"No, I’m not some disgusting fiend. I’m tutoring a student in French." He said, smiling happily.

"What’s so interesting about that?" Seo-Jun asked.

"He is. He’s just so interesting. He knows when to bark but can’t bite, apparently," Min-Cheol described and then chuckled.

"Anyway, I’m hungry." Ki-hoon said, his eyes traveling to the students who were doing their best to get them their food.

There had to be no single mistake when serving the Alphas so a roaster was made. I mean, most people wanted to be the one to bring the Alphas their food, since that was the only time they could actually approach the Alphas and leave a good impression but they were also scared that they would mess up.

So, it was a difficult task.

Ki-hoon noticed someone being sneaky in that quiet hall. He peered deeper and saw it was the same guy from last night. What was he doing?

It definitely looked like he was sneaking out but why?

"I’m searching for someone." Jin-Yeok suddenly said.

"Your missing rib?" Ki-hoon suddenly asked, which came out of nowhere, and they laughed, and the funniest part was that Ki-hoon did not ask that as a joke.

He was genuinely clueless.

"No, but maybe." Jin-Yeok said, calming from his laughter. "He has a nice scent. I want to hold him."

"Wow, it’s been a long time since I found someone with a nice scent." Seo-Jun said.

"That’s ’cause you broke them all." Min-Cheol said. "You’re too dubious."

"It’s not my fault they were that fragile."

While all this was going on, I was doing my best to sneak out of the cafeteria without anyone noticing me.

All eyes were on the Alphas and it was awfully quiet as well. Only the voices and laughter of the Alphas could be heard.

I was glad they were focused on their conversation because with this, I could escape without them noticing me.

...Is what I thought.

Just as I was about to reach the door, one of the students getting the Alphas their food, slipped on the grease from the food those dumbos had spilled on my feet.

From one falling, the others also lost their balance and fell.

The perfectly arranged lunch for the Alphas was ruined, and while I would like to take responsibility, as if I knew this commotion was the perfect chance I had to get out.

Yet again, karma was a bitter bitch.

I attempted to open the door when it creaked loudly and all eyes fell on me. It was just after those guys had fallen with the food, and everyone was staring in shock, so the entire hall was quiet, the door just had to creak, and I... Was once again the center of attention.

Oh, merciless Lady Ahn decided this was her chance to gain favor with the Alphas by pointing out the culprit for all the mishaps.

She stood up and yelled, while pointing her slender and manicured nails at me,

"He did it." She turned to the Alphas. "He tried to sabotage the Alphas’ meal."

That witch... It was her minions who spilled precious food so how was I someone who came to sabotage their meal?

But that aside, why was I getting caught up in such a situation when I only wanted to escape attention?

’This is perfect. Not only will I look good in front of the Alphas, but they’ll also deal with that rude prick. This serves well.’

Her expression was as readable as a children’s book. Could she be any more creative?

These types of bitches were everywhere, I tell you.

"What are you waiting for? Get him to kneel in front of the Alphas."

So, um, is it too late to run?

I guess so.

The entire school will be on my neck if I do run. What was that saying again? Ah, yes. I guess it’s time to face the music.

The guys who had spilled the food on my feet caught my arms and dragged me. I mean, I could walk but whatever.

I let them drag me since it saved me the trouble of walking all the way there. Who knows? I might actually melt before I get to the front of the four Alphas because of the heat coming from the students’ glares.

They were worshiping the four Alphas like they were some god.

The guys dropped me and I fell on my knees, my head down.

They probably already recognized me by now, right? Now, should I just feign ignorance if they acted like they knew me or should I use the fact that they know me to my advantage?

I’m not exactly the type to run a vendetta but I’d really like to get back at that bitch.

Since the peace has been broken, they can’t blame me for going ahead with what I have in mind.

I pursed my lips, waiting for my judgment and the first one to speak was Jin-Yeok.

"Aha, so it was you." He said, with an amused tone that stated he knew who I was... Well, we only met once but whatever. "You did look like someone who would cause trouble but who would’ve known we would meet like this? Must be fate, haha."

The others did not react much to his words and instead, said what they had in mind.

"Were you trying to get back at me for what happened during French class?" Min-Cheol asked, looking excited that we met once again and Ki-hoon sighed.

"How is it that you always find yourself in a mess you can’t get out of?" Ki-hoon asked and then Seo-Jun blinked.

He was the only one who hadn’t formally met with me but he did recognize who I was. And judging from the situation, he roughly understood what was going on and then snapped his fingers.

He didn’t want to be the only one left out so he ’acted’ like he had met with me and said,

"And I was wondering what the whole commotion was about. Hurry up and come sit. It’s still lunch, isn’t it?" He asked and they all looked at him, stunned, especially me who was very much lost.

"Pardon?"

The others, I understand, but him? Why would he ask me to sit with them at their table?

"Didn’t you hear?" Seo-Jun asked and grinned. "I said you should come sit. Or... Do you want me to come carry you instead?"

Just what in the marshmallow was going on?
