CHAPTER 276: TRY LOSING FIVE GAMES IN A ROW,

We decided to play cards after dinner.

I felt so much better after stuffing my belly, and while there weren’t a lot of games we could play in the dead of the night, there was one that required minimal effort.

And to make things more fun the loser after each round would take off a piece of their clothing.

The thought of it worried me since if I lost, I would have to take off one piece of my clothing but I felt it might be fine. I wasn’t one with the worst luck, right?

’Phew, it’s just poker. I know the basics, so I’m sure it’ll be easy.’ I thought but I was dead wrong!

It wasn’t easy at all. I was the only one losing after each round. It was as if they were ganging up on me or something. Hmph, I could feel it.

Their calm and unwavering eyes couldn’t fool me. It might look like they were just keeping a poker face for the others not to know what they’re thinking and what cards they’ve got in hand, but I was sure of it. I could even smell it. If I could lick it, I would, but what good would that do?

They’re all a bunch of cheaters who were aiming to get me naked, but I won’t let myself get beaten!

With steam gushing out of my nose with my utmost determination, I was ready to win the game this time but...

"Why am I so bad at this?" I whimpered after taking the last piece of clothing I had on. Okay, maybe not the last piece of clothing but it was close.

Now, I only had my underwear on and I bet they would make me lose the next round just to take it off.

My eyes caught the remote in Ki-hoon’s hand, and I watched him turn up the heat.

Ah, would you look at that? Isn’t that sweet? He probably didn’t want me to catch a cold.

For someone who was planning to strip me bare in a ’nice’ way, he did have a conscience.

"How’s this, Hyung?" Min-Cheol asked. "Does the temperature seem okay? We can’t have you catching a cold."

"It’s alright, Little Min," I said, barely covering my chest and the tiny bulge in my briefs with my fine delicate hands. "I’m not that weak,"

"Come on, stop hiding it already," Seo-Jun said, his smile as irksome as ever and I could feel my veins bulging on the right side of my temple, forming an irk as I watched him smile arrogantly. "And smile a little bit, would ya? It wouldn’t kill you, you know."

Ha! As if he’d smile like a reindeer on the day after Christmas if he were in my shoes.

(PS, the reindeer would smile a lot out of relief on the day after Christmas because then its job would be over for an entire year till the next Christmas. You get it? It’s like a Santa Claus joke)

But I couldn’t be rude, if not, I’d get the short end of the stick once more. So, I curled my lips up as much as I could and gave him the smile he wanted.

"Does this look better?" I asked and he tittered.

"Sure."

"Well it doesn’t make ’me’ feel better," I flipped at him. "Try losing five games in a row, my very considerate master."

Gosh, it felt so good to lash out at this one. He wasn’t a fool, but he took my lashes quite well and even loved them, if I may say so.

Sorry, not sorry. Someone has to take my lashes since I was frustrated with losing so much. But he should be grateful I’m even being a little bit considerate with my words when lashing out. I’d like to use my privilege to the best of my ability, but I’d best remain cautious lest I throw all my efforts down the drain.

I couldn’t help but think back to how I lashed out at him on the first day of his arrival. Though I was hurt with my reckless punches, it was the time of my life, if I may say so.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Seo-Jun asked and I chuckled.

"Something exciting," I said, opening my eyes to look at him and he smiled, his eyes glowing with a hint of lust as he stared at my chest.

Gosh, this pervert. Can he not do that right now?

"Does that exciting stuff include me in it?" He asked, looking at me with a knowing grin and sending out a hint but it was definitely not what he was thinking.

But even so... I smirked back and nodded.

"Yes, you happen to be the star of the excitement," I said, a vivid greed to lay my hands on him once more sparking in my eyes. "Would you like to reenact that exciting incident with me?" I asked and shivers suddenly went down his spine out of nowhere.

He must’ve finally figured out what I was talking about.

"No thanks, I’m good." He said and I almost clicked my tongue.

What a wimp. He couldn’t even be a man and take a few punches despite being a sadist himself.

"My, you guys are having a really fun conversation, aren’t you?" Jin-Yeok chipped in with that friendly smile of his and picked up his cards.

He had finished sharing the cards and had placed his eyes on me.

"I do feel bad for you," he said. "So, let’s have a different loser this time around."

"Yeah, let’s stop giving Hyung such a hard time since he’s new to the game."

Ah, now they say something like that?

Hello~ I’m just one piece of material away from being naked. Couldn’t you have said that a lot sooner? I don’t know, maybe when I lost my pants?

As much as I wanted to yell at them, I could only keep it in. It’s not their fault I wasn’t good at it anyway.

"Watch your cards carefully this time, Jo-Pil," Ki-hoon said and I nodded.

Though they said that and I nodded quite obediently, I didn’t believe there was going to be another loser besides me.

I mean, they’d already gone that far in stripping me so why stop then and there?

I was waiting for my loss when I noticed the tides of the ’battle’ were actually going in my favor. Ah, this time, my cards looked so much better than before.

And for the first time, I didn’t lose. I didn’t have to take off my underwear and the unlucky bastard who replaced me was none other than Seo-Jun.

Hehe, get a load of this. How do you like having your clothes taken off without your consent but you have no choice anyway?

I breathed in quite deeply, my stomach filled with all that air, and then released that air through my mouth, taking in the satisfaction of winning for the first time.

"You seem to be having a great time," Seo-Jun said as he took off his shirt and I decided to act out.

"Ah, what’s that?" I poked my ear closer to him as I taunted him. "Oh I’m sorry, could you repeat that? I couldn’t quite hear you clearly over the SHIRT YOU WERE TAKING OFF." I almost burst out laughing but held it in and danced inwardly at the muffled laughter of the other three and .... crinkling vein on his forehead.

Yes, this was the life.
