CHAPTER 280: DON’T DO THAT HERE

"Tonight, I want to sleep with you," my eyes shot open.

All of a sudden?

"I mean, I’ve never slept on the same bed as you before." He said. "Everyone else must’ve had the opportunity to sleep next to you. I want it too."

I watched him, silently. It was indeed true that he and I haven’t had more... Bonding time, since I was always on guard against him.

The others were on guard against him as well, as if he were a plague. Sometimes, it’s not so bad. But other times, it’s so evident that it becomes uncomfortable.

I just wonder how he bottles all that up.

If I can change their mindset even a little then this house will be way more peaceful than before.

But, setting that aside, I realized I didn’t give Seo-Jun the privilege of sleeping beside me after our date, despite him being the one who earned most of my smile that day.

I spent almost the entire day with him so it was inevitable that the number of smiles he got was more than the rest.

And yet... He didn’t push for his right to sleep on the bed with me and left for his own room as I was looking totally worn out and exhausted.

My ankles hurt a lot that evening so I had the maids massage them a bit till I dozed off, not knowing how long they went at it.

But their hands were truly magical. I didn’t feel the discomfort anymore after waking up. Maybe it was also thanks to Jin-Yeok’s special ointment but I didn’t forget to thank them.

So much longer talk, jeez. The premise was that I owed him this much.

"Alright," I said and then got up. "You can sleep here tonight, Master."

"Ah-ah, call me Seo-Jun." He said and I tilted my head a bit. Was he really serious?

I twisted my lips a bit and then nodded.

"Alright," I said. "Seo-Jun," the name slid out of my lips weirdly, and for some reason, I blushed. ’This feels weird.’

Seo-Jun seemed satisfied with it and grinned.

"There you go." He said but I just decided to ignore anything else he had to say while I took out my nightwear.

"Aren’t you going to go change?" I asked, glancing over my shoulder at the white shirt he was wearing. "I mean, you still haven’t taken your bath after a long day. So why don’t you go do that?"

"Should I?" He looked like he was seriously thinking over it. "Alright then." He got up, and I seriously thought he was going to walk out of my room and go take his bath in his own room, leaving me space to come to terms with my thoughts, but then he said, "I’ll just take my bath here."

"What?" I turned my head.

"What’s wrong? A bathroom is a bathroom, no matter where it is." He said but that didn’t bode well with me for some reason.

His room might be at the end of the hall but still, it was there for a reason. He didn’t need to use my bathroom.

"No," I confidently and boldly refused, something I’d only ever dreamed of doing.

I walked up to him, stomping my foot on the floor, and grabbed his arm.

"Please don’t do this." I said and he stared at me, trying to understand something when his lips curled.

"What’s this? Are you hiding some sort of treasure in there?" He asked. "I’m just gonna take a bath."

"Don’t do that here," I said to him.

No one other than me has used my bathroom before. I don’t know what might happen but I had a bad feeling about letting him use it.

And my bad feelings... Were never wrong.

"Seo-Jun, Seo-Jun," I called his name, repeating it as I tried to get a grasp of the rhythm rolling on my tongue. "Seo-Jun, please use your bathroom today."

Seo-Jun couldn’t understand it and though it looked like a light matter, he must’ve remembered when I told him this,

’I don’t want to ruin the balance in this mansion. I can’t afford to show one more favor than the other.’

And because of that, I had to be mindful of my actions. I have to be very cautious so the scale doesn’t tip and chaos doesn’t ensue.

I was working hard towards that.

"Please," I pleaded. He shouldn’t throw my effort out the window just because he wants something. He should try to consider me. No, he has to.

Seo-Jun watched me desperately, his eyes on my eyes that silently pleaded with him.

I had my fears and he could see it.

He’d hate to be the bad guy and make those fears a reality.

"Man, I don’t know what the big deal is." He said, scratching the back of his head. "It’s just a bath." He darted his eyes away and then back at me. "But if you insist, I guess I’ll have to go take it in my room."

Hearing this, I let out a sigh of relief.

I was so glad he was being so understanding. But Seo-Jun was the kind who liked to grasp whatever opportunity was before him, so he made a condition.

"But..." I raised my head. "I’ll only do that if you give me a kiss."

Since he couldn’t get the kiss as a reward, even if he really wanted it, he would get it in another way. And the way just happened to open up in front of him.

"It’s just a kiss, right?" I asked. I didn’t mind kissing him once or twice anyway.

I leaned closer, going on my tiptoes, and then reached for his neck as support.

"Let’s do it," I said, my direct approach, as if I had been eagerly waiting for that condition, surprised him.

But that surprise quickly fell and was replaced by the amused grin on his lips. He placed his hands on my waist and said,

"I get the feeling you’re more eager for this than I am."

Well, I was. But let’s not tell him that.

I finally reached his lip. My lips brushed against his lightly before I pressed deeply into his. He removed one hand from my waist and held the back of my head as he deepened the kiss and it got fiercely intensified.
