“Honestly, I think my brother’s just dense! That girl probably hinted at it a dozen times and he still didn’t get it. Of course she’d want to hit him!”

“And after getting beaten up so many times, he’s probably developed a trauma. Hahaha~”

Lying sideways on her bed, Lily scrolled through the wall of text Ning Chu had just sent.

Ning Chu: “Originally, I thought my brother would be your boyfriend, you know~”

Lily: “I told you I’m not interested. You’re the one who set that up.”

Lily: “Anyway, he’s way too much of a bland guy. Boring to chat with, never takes initiative.”

Lily: “I want someone with a dominant streak! A sadist type who would take the wheel and put me in my place!”

Ning Chu rolled her eyes.

“Have you considered maybe it’s you who’s going too fast and too wild, and that’s why you scared him off?”

Lily shot back almost instantly:

“Hey, but wouldn’t it be fun if I actually managed to seduce your brother? Wouldn’t that be thrilling?”

“Stop right there! No cucking!” Ning Chu typed back in a panic.

If this succubus really got into the habit of stealing taken men, everything would descend into chaos!

“Relax, I’m joking~”

Ning Chu sent an eye-roll emoji in reply.

She wasn’t actually worried that Lily would go through with it—this so-called succubus was way too timid.

Ning Chu had only been around for half a year and had already surpassed her by miles—gaining millions of points worth of “spoils.”

And then there was Lily, the “Disgrace of Succubi.”

Nearly twenty years old and still playing with little toys at home. Couldn’t even talk to a guy without stuttering.

Sad. Absolutely sad.

The only thing she had going for her was her figure—but even that was no longer unique since Ning Chu’s own had filled out beautifully after a bit of “male nourishment.”

Turning over in bed, Ning Chu opened her chat with her brother and sent a quick message:

“Bro, did you get beaten up?”

No response.

“Napping already? Ignoring your cute little sister now?”

Just then, she heard footsteps outside her room.

Ning Chu sat up as her mom walked in, carrying a plate.

“Here, have some papaya. Good for your skin—and your chest.”

“I don’t like papaya…” Ning Chu muttered, glancing down at herself.

“Besides, I’m already big enough. I don’t need any more help in that department.”

She was already wearing a C-cup bra, and with how full and perky her chest looked, the visual impact was… well, more than enough.

Any bigger, and she’d be knocking over her milk tea with her chest—or unable to see her feet when she looked down.

“Oh right, Mom,” she said, stopping her mother before she could leave.

“When I visited my brother’s apartment, I met one of his neighbors—a young woman. Said she was his college classmate. And judging from how she acted… I think she might like him.”

Ning Juan’s eyes immediately lit up.

“I think I’ve heard your brother complain about her before…”

“Not sure what her name is, but he calls her Xiao Xi.”

Ning Juan nodded thoughtfully.

“So even your brother has someone who likes him, huh? That poor girl’s got a disaster ahead of her.”

“???”

Then Ning Juan’s expression turned serious again.

“So what do you think we should name my future grandkids? You know, your nephews?

“Mom! You’re skipping way too many steps! Maybe start by worrying if we can even afford for him to get married first?”

Ning Juan rolled her eyes.

“Do we look like a family that can buy an apartment for him?”

“Then what’s he supposed to do when he gets married?”

“Good question…” Ning Juan sighed heavily. “Maybe sell this place, use it for his down payment, and I’ll buy a smaller place in the county.”

This apartment was old, sure, but it was in the city center—definitely not cheap.

“And you,” she added, turning the topic again, “if you’re not gonna find a rich second-generation heir, at least find someone whose parents can help out a bit, huh?”

“Mom!”

At that, Ning Chu’s expression darkened. She glared back at her mother.

Sure, Wen Yang might not have much now—but he is the protagonist.

She had complete faith in his future!

Ning Juan, unwilling to argue further, rolled her eyes and muttered as she walked out, "I'm just looking out for you."

"Tch!"

As soon as her mother left, Ning Chu sprang up, slammed the door shut, and locked it. Only then did she leisurely eat her sliced papaya, gently swinging her leg as she called Wen Yang to complain about her mother.

"My mom is so annoying! She's always badmouthing you. My grandparents treated her the same way back then, and now she's doing the same to me!"

She used to wonder how people could spend hours on the phone, as if they had endless topics to discuss.

Then she found someone she loved.

"Wen Yang! You won't believe this! My brother actually has a girl who likes him!"

"That idiot never even noticed! He still treats her like one of the guys~"

Meanwhile, Ning Yuan was facing the greatest crisis of his life.

Xiao Xi had forcefully pulled him onto the bed, pinning him face-down on top of her. His mind went blank.

"I like you," she slurred, her eyes glazed with alcohol but fixed on Ning Yuan's face. She bit her lower lip nervously, awaiting his response.

"This... you're drunk. Don't act crazy," Ning Yuan stammered, his mind racing. He was so flustered he forgot to get up, remaining pinned to Xiao Xi, his expression dazed.

Just moments ago, Xiao Xi had been so weak she could barely stand without his support. Now, her slender arms were wrapped tightly around his neck, immobilizing him.

As he struggled weakly, he became acutely aware of the soft, curvaceous body beneath him. An involuntary reaction stirred within his lower half, pressing against Xiao Xi's abdomen.

This is bad! This is really bad!

Panic seized Ning Yuan. He tried to push himself up, but the girl beneath him clung stubbornly to his neck, her face flushed crimson—whether from alcohol or embarrassment, he couldn't tell.

For the first time, he realized that this tomboyish girl actually possessed a surprising amount of feminine charm.

Realizing that this situation was clearly not good for him right now...

Slightly tipsy, his brain was barely suppressing the desires of his cerebellum.

But the thought of actually taking advantage of her vulnerability made him pause. Given his personality, he knew he'd inevitably take responsibility... and that would likely condemn him to a lifetime as a henpecked husband, constantly bullied by Xiao Xi.

Hold on, that’s not an entirely bad prospect, though?

In a daze, Ning Yuan found himself flipped over, Xiao Xi straddling him, silently beginning to undress.

"Holy shit! Chill down!"

This isn't me taking advantage of her!

Xiao Xi is clearly planning to pounce on me!

Though his words protested, his body was already primed, and his alcohol-addled brain began to anticipate the encounter with hazy excitement.

The girl who used to bully him relentlessly was now his for the taking.

The "I want t" mentality vanished completely. Ning Yuan even felt a pang of relief that he hadn't chosen the Succubus.

When women go wild, they're too intense. They'll drain you until your kidneys ache.
