CHAPTER 403: 403 FREEDOM FROM RESTRICTIONS

[El’s POV: ]

[Barnacle capital, Imperial palace: ]

"So, when are you two getting married?"

After a loooooooooong three minute spatial trip, I was back to the empire that was now smaller in size but stronger than it ever was.

Anyway, when I came back, I found Rex was handling the new paperwork along with Cathy in his office alone.

There was some tension between the two of them that they wanted to hide, a clear indication of something lewd they must have been up to before my arrival.

"W-wh-what do you mean by that?! And where did that come from all of a sudden?!"

She must have been here ever since things calmed down and the two of them must be living together in this big palace ever since then.

’They had gotten closer ever since the battle ended. And when Cathy found out that the two of us were behind those thieves and the whole thing... she was quite angry at us.’

She did not talk to us for many days and even until the exam was over, she was still upset that the two of us did all those things to their friend.

’But then again, she understood with time that We were never friends in the first place.’

She was our responsibility in the academy, and we promised to be supporters of Rex.

They weren’t like Nes to us. It wasn’t like we were so close that we would tell them all the things we do.

’Not even we know what things we are going to do so it was pretty much impossible to even know our plans.’

Anyway, we were in a special relationship before and after the battle, she asked us to become friends in true meaning if we wanted to continue the happy relationship they had.

And that was how we became friends from acquaintances.

Anyway, she had been nice with us since then, and she had been even nicer with the one who soon proposed to her when everything had calmed down.

"Did you two sleep together yet or are you two still stuck on hand holding and kissing part?"

They were working on their desks and standing was straining so I got myself a chair and sat down with them.

"El! That’s inappropriate...!"

A pink blush broke out on Cathay’s pretty white face and man... she still had a great rack.

"It’s just your thinking that’s inappropriate, girl. Sex is a natural thing. Just say no if you haven’t come to that point yet.

It’s not like you two want to abstain from ’connecting’ on a deeper level or anything.

He’s the emperor now and you’re a saintess. There’s no power that could technically stop you from indulging in your desires."

He fought hard just so he could express his love for her, but now, instead of accepting the path of their hearts, he was making her wait.

It was not right in the first place.

She was one horney girl that wanted to do fun stuff with this fun new boyfriend she had finally accepted after all this time and he was not giving her his meat.

It was even more wrong than how it sounded like.

"Look here you two."

I used telekinesis to take their papers away from them.

"You love each other and you want to do things for each other, both of you know that already. I know."

He fought the emperor just so he could have her, and though her awakening was unexpected, as a saintess, Cathay was a unique individual to this world.

She surely was a part of her kingdom and was also someone who was still connected to the basic customs and regulations of their kind.

Surely their culture and their individual practices was a thing but she did not have any need to follow all those things.

If she just tells her grandmother that she has awakened as a new Saintess, she would not even have to return back to her home and she can start a new life right here.

"Being tied by culture, society, obligations... letting things that do not really mean anything at all in the position you two are in affect you is just foolish.

As an Emperor, You can do anything you want Raz. And Cathy, if you are worried about your family, just call them and tell them you wanna sleep with the new emperor and have hid children.

They should understand well after all the talking you people might have done in the past few months."

I already know how she depends on her family so much.

There is no way she would have hidden things that bothered her so much, things like her feelings for Rex and things like her anxieties.

She must have told them all about those things, and though she only had the authority to tell about her Saintess status to someone like her grandma, just telling one person was more than enough in her situation.

"If you are afraid something will happen if you do it, or the world will end, then rest assured. Nothing like that is going to happen as long as I’m here."

Rex had just been looking at me with a hopeful gaze ever since I started talking about the two of them.

He was restricted by his position now and since things had still been in motion, there was a lot he had to look after.

He could not just take actions as he wanted without thinking of the consequences. So in short, he was now bound by new restrictions.

"You’re just the emperor in name. And Cathy is still part of her family.

Nothing has changed much. You two are still the same students that you were before you entered the academy and you two are still just the same people that you were before obtaining these authorities and powers.

The only difference now is that a few, insignificant things have changed for good and you should be taking advantage of that– sleeping around all day in this fine big palace of yours, trying various positions, finding new things about each other, breaking free from the restrictions holding you both.

But, instead of helping one another and taking new steps towards something new, here you are. Playing hand holding and kissing on lips like some children."

They were some of the highest authorities in this world right now.

The kind of authority they had granted them so much power that not even the outsiders watching them playing around in public would say anything about them.

They had nothing to worry about here, and yet they were binding themselves with the restrictions.

"Go and explore each other, man. With melons like those and with a strong body like his, what is stopping you two if not your own minds?"

Well, I obviously know they aren’t going to do what I was suggesting since their own moral values were more important to them than the restrictions that they had on them.

But, now that I have given them the push they need, they will soon contact her home, go see her family, get their permission, get the approval of their people, and ask for the blessing of nature.

’Only after they are officially wedded would they do the penetration stuff– but before that, in the heat of the moment, along with the kissing, they should also start with a few more things now.’

At least, they should start with oral things.

"El, you’re a bad person."

Cathy knew all that I was saying and yet she could only blush at my words that felt a little too thrilling to her.

Doing inappropriate things with the person one loved did not make them inappropriate things.

"Of course I’m a bad person."

And even though they knew I was trying to manipulate them into this, logically, they did not really find any fault with my logic.

"I’ve always been a bad person."

What I was doing could surely be considered inappropriate, and my words and way of thinking might not be the same as the other Normal people.

But that was just how I was.

"So, if you two wanna go and cuddle or something, you should go now. The delegation from theocracy should arrive early in the morning."

It was night on this side of the continent right now.

The delegation that was sent to the capital was travelling through the highest movement paths and using special spatial transportation methods.

And, since they were on a holy mission, they were not going to stop for anything either.

"I’ll be here for now so shoo. Have fun."

She could not have fun herself but at the very least, now that the two of them were set on the right path, it will not be long before they bring a pretty baby to this world.

’Lily and Leon are soon going to get married as well.’

They were already engaged and they will get married by around the middle of the next year.

If things go well and they do each other properly, their babies will come to this world by the time these two start coming into one another...

’It’s sad that we might not be around when their baby comes to this world.’

According to how things had progressed, we would have to ascend sooner than we had expected. And since things were progressing faster while the two of these dorks were still going at their own pace, I will not get to see the faces of my new pretty nephews and nieces.

"Then, I’ll leave everything in your care."

"I never said I would help with your dumb paperwork-."

"We appreciate your help."

He ran out of the room while dragging her by hand, dumping the shitty paper work all on me.

"Not that I’m doing it."

There was no reason for me to do it when there were people here that actually look after things like these.

Even he did not have to do it... so, why did he even bother in the first place?
