CHAPTER 405: 405 A FOOL’S GAMBLE

"You think I did so much preparation just to joke about something like this?"

At the top of the garden blessed by the power of luck, I had prepared many... Many special elixirs and medicines that helped with energy circulation.

The place before me was filled with glass vials and packets containing the herbs.

Cary was sitting along with Raz, looking at me as if I was some kind of crazy bastard.

Even silver was present here right now just in case I died.

Still, nya. Is it possible to even cultivate the energy of Wills?

"It sure is possible to cultivate any kind of energy."

As long as it was an energy that existed in the form of strings, there was a wavelength and frequency to it. One just needed to resonate with them on the right points to cultivate them into something usable.

"Do you people know about Xii?"

Nyaa? You talking about the energy of primordial light, nya?

"Yup. The first light that was born at the dawn of creation."

Something practically intangible and something that powered only the main system elements of the worldline... it was the primordial energy that was also called the opposite of Chaos energy that Cary could use.

"At some point, under the right conditions, there were two individuals that succeeded in cultivating the energy of the supreme existence that no other being had ever been able to."

There surely were.

"And one of them was killed by the higher powers of the worldline perhaps when you two were sealed in that unique space."

The two never met each other but one achieved that result purely due to their eternal curiocity, while the other did so after seeing how it was something ’possible’ and new.

"The one who was left was so powerful no power of the worldline wanted to mess with her. And due to her uninterested nature in the affairs of the world, she mostly just stayed in the unique realm she had created for herself."

She still is the pinnacle of sword, the untenable heaven of an art. Someone who rose to one of the highest positions of the worldline all by her own efforts and talents, as well as someone that had no interest in anything other than her art.

Nya. Sounds like you know her well.

"I don’t think you know them. They aren’t actually as old as you. Though..."

The position they held right now in this worldline was unique and nearly anyone who wields a sword in the higher realms knew about her existence.

"Throughout the heavens and earth, she alone is the supreme one."

Strength, skills, techniques... she was the best when it came to anything, eastern or western, mortal or astral, divine or demonic, primordial or chaotic.

There was no art that she did not know and there was no sword dance she could not perform.

If gods were to face her, she would deal with them with the darkest of Auras, and if demonic nobles were to face her, she would deal with them with the brightest of Light.

In this entire worldline, there were few who were as knowledgeable about the truths as her. And there were not enough praises in this world to describe her existence.

"She cultivated the power that only the very origin of this world could use."

Not even the offsprings were authorised to use that power.

Not even the primordial light that Ana was born from themselves could use the power that they eternally produce.

"So, if doing something absurd like that was possible, why wouldn’t harnessing the power of these wills that I have already wielded once be impossible?"

There was a problem and there was a solution to the problem.

I did not know how to achieve that solution, but that was the reason I had prepared so much, and called these people to support me in this process.

Nyaa... sounds absurd to me, nya.

Ptssssss! I think there is no need to do something so dangerous!

They were surely ungrateful... Silver was a good girl that was thinking about my safety so she was good, but these two bastards were just ungrateful.

What the fuck do you mean you aren’t getting anything from this?! The materials and elixirs I’m using didn’t appear out of thin air!

Both these bastards were ungrateful and evil.

But, what I was doing would not have been possible without their help.

It was time to start, so first of all, I asked for Cary’s Law negating skill.

It was the main reason I kept this bastard here instead of my lovely Anna.

Then, with the help of Raz and Mana crystals purchased with a lot of my money, he created a special space for me.

In this space, with the help of Cary’s other skills, I created the perfect environment of this kind of cultivation.

Then, I took all the herbs and elixirs that I had brought all at once and created a state of energy imbalance inside my body.

Mana and Aura started running wild so my entire body was in pain, but thanks to the environment that we had created, the pain was lessened and the healing effect of the medicines was enhanced.

Coughing up blood was a basic thing, so we did not pay any attention to that and moved on to the new thing– which was related to energy.

The special energy of wills was a strong power that was momentarily granted to me and even the set laws of the world could not completely take away that power from me.

It surely restricted me from using that power, but the natural laws were set and certain.

It applied to all things equally... which meant when there was an energy overflow, it would also make the stagnant energy of will powers move as well.

It was not easy controlling it and stopping it from going berserk, but it was doable.

Against what I had learned under her, this much was nothing much.

"Aughhhh..."

The pain throughout my body was enough to kill a few people already. And enduring it all was no joke.

But seeing how the white energy was moving inside of me along with the other energies was all that I wanted to see.

The energies were overflowing but they weren’t going to overflow forever.

They would calm down after some time and until that time comes, he just had to make sure they do not collide with one another or any other energy centre present in his body.

It was no simple process. But it was nothing compared to the hundreds of years of meditation I have already experienced in the past.

It was not going to be a short or a quick process.

Essentially, this was a gamble.

My life could be at risk and I might most certainly die doing this thing.

But in case I actually end up dead, Silver would help me get myself back to my previous state as stated in the new origin contract we signed earlier.

But I did not want to go down that path...

Inside this special environment, with the laws of the world and worldline released to some degree, it was easy to use what I have learned in the past.

My past experiences were clearer here, and the passive mental abilities that I had never used in the past were more useful here.

I continued my cultivation without thinking about unnecessary things.

Absorbing any energy right now meant death so even if I wanted to I could not even think of touching the Luck energy in the environment.

It was already helping me. Trying to take it in with a storm of all the existing energies would be the same as courting death.

All I needed to do here was simple circulation.

And when it all calms down, after returning the Mana and Aura to their house, I would first create a new house for the new energy, and store the still circulating energy in that house.

It was a simple process.

And I merely needed Luck and concentration to succeed.

In this special garden, thankfully, I had both of those things... plus I had our Lucky Raz. So, I’m sure this will go great.
