CHAPTER 411: 411 POWER OF [CREATION]

[Lucy’s POV: ]

"...ughh."

When I got up, I felt a strong pain all over my body.

-Oooooooong!

But then that pain was overcome by the overwhelming warmth that I could feel inside of my body.

"Did..."

I still couldn’t believe it even though I was the one that did it.

You dumb contractor. What the hell were you even thinking?

Cary was the one that brought me back to my senses, and the pain that was quickly healing was the result of the new energy that was being held inside of my body.

{ "Ptsss... the power of wills." }

{ "We originally called it the power of [Creation]. The primordial power that is born from a belief that something exists." }

Overseen by the 51st Offspring of the Worldline, this power was originally something that belonged only to the chosen primordial beings known as [Cultivators].

While it was a power that was supposed to be an innate blessing of those beings that they must use in order to create various aspects of this world, the true meaning behind the power of creation was in fact something else.

"Haaa..."

I wanted to get up but my body was still not in its best state. I felt stronger, my muscles were better now and I had grown in height as well.

’I am taller than her now...’

She is going to kill me when she sees me in this state so I will have to change back somehow. But that is a secondary concern.

"The power of creation is something that you spread across your creations.

Unlike creation magic where you create various inanimate or even animate ’fragments’ from an Origin, with creation power, you wish for something... and it happens."

Unlike the other energies that exist in the world, the power of wills was one of the unique energies that did not work the same way as any other energy.

’It wasn’t Mana so one cannot create spells with it, it was not Aura so one cannot cut boulders with it, and it was not anything similar so one cannot do much of anything while using it.’

Much like the lucky energy that was present around this place, we were talking about an energy that simply exists because other things and the world exists.

’To will is to desire something that exists. So, this power is related to existence more closely than the Origin or the power of origin.’

I did use this power in a few runs when playing the game, but El was the one that had it most of the time since it fit better with her overall nature.

’Though the power itself was versatile, I cannot just use it like I want. It will be there with me now that I have obtained it, but it will not be under my command all the time.’

I cannot wish for something that is not possible. I can not create a new life out of the blue. I cannot ’destroy’ with this power since in the state that I have obtained it in, the pure concept of Creation is more prominent than its actual power.

’When I fought the emperor, the only thing that I wanted was to destroy the emperor. That was my will and the power that was granted to me bny the worldline was fulfilled because of that power.’

I did not ask for anything else so the power was amplified, however it was in its natural state back then.

’But now, as an energy that I can cultivate, this power is more like luck than anything else.’

I can do whatever I want with it. I can apply it to anything I want. With this power, if my will is strong enough, then what I will be able to do would have limitless potential.

But still...

This power has limits, Nya.

As soon as Raz flew down at me after checking up with the guardian dragon of this place who must have been worried about everything going on up here, I grabbed the little kitten and hugged him tightly.

"Thanks."

Taking the dragon as well as the snake in my embrace as well, I was somehow hugging three cosmic creatures that were so unique even I could not stand against them if we were to actually fight.

’Even as someone that was strong and skilled, when seen from the stage that they stood at, I was still a greenhorn.’

Be it Cary who had lived for the longest among us, be it the child of a world destroying entity and cosmic horror, or be it the living legend, the merchant of the dark that has the ability to control the market of the Worldline.

’It is not strange that all three of them wanted to get away from me and felt uncomfortable, but I just kept hugging them.’

I obtained incredible power and it was only possible because these cuties were here.

One cannot fathom how difficult it is to obtain the power to make whatever one wished come true. To will was not to wish about something, so the power that I’ve obtained is certainly not a wish granting power or anything like that.

’It is a limited power with unlimited uses or usage possibilities.’

I can do a lot with it, but none of it would have been possible if they weren’t here.

"Really, thanks..."

Raz somehow slipped away from me and gasped for breath, and when he did that, Silver, who was gasping for breath since a while ago, finally breathed a sigh of relief,

She liked Cary and Raz but the situation made her uncomfortable. And since she could not get angry at me, she just endured it.

{ "Let go of me... you bastard!" }

Lucy could not help it. Though both these creatures were simple and calm most of the time, they were too close to their masters.

One day, while El and Cary might become the spear that pierces through the existing norms, Silver and Nessy might be the Change that this world will need.

’It’s not long before we leave this world to the rest of the protagonists who will need to face the rest of the challenges and come after us.’

Since we are selfishly taking what they should have received and have eliminated even the necessary stepping stones for them, not just for Nes, it is going to be a difficult journey for Cathy, Rex, Ras, Lux, and Leon as well.

Same with Lily, Oak, and the others. It’s not going to be an easy journey even for the whole masked fools.

’It’s going to be tough.’

Though now that I have this power, I know I will be able to help her in the upcoming war even better.

’And, since it’s going to be fought between her and her faction against the pope and the divinities, it’s going to be quite the delight to use them.’

I was afraid I wouldn’t be of much help to her when the time comes, but now, with this new power, things have changed.

’Nearly everything has changed with this.’

Now... I just have to utilize this new ability properly to take full Advantage of it.
