Did you come in before you even had a chance to say hello and already persuade someone to leave?

Mia Lane immediately understood her situation. She didn’t respond but instead turned her gaze to the man beside her who was as steady as a rock.

"You don’t need to look at him," Kristina Kingston’s tone was severe. "My son and Monica Usher are a perfect match. Although I don’t know how you ended up pregnant with his child, and I’m not sure whose child it is, I’m stating my position clearly: I do not approve of you. The Kingston family is willing to raise the child and is also willing to compensate you for the expenses over the years."

Justin Kingston was also silent, leaving Mia unable to guess his thoughts.

Kristina Kingston was so angry that she clutched her chest, and Mary quickly supported her while Justin bowed and left with Mia.

Mia still looked back uneasily, but Justin’s steps were resolute.

Justin ignored her embarrassment, stepping out from beside her, apparently deciding not to pursue the matter.
