CHAPTER 26: CHAPTER 26: PLAYING MATCHMAKER FOR DADDY AND MOMMY TO SLEEP TOGETHER

Mia Lane felt so embarrassed!

Why did she come to see him!!

She felt like it made her seem like she cared about him a lot!

At night, the Kingston Group building was dazzlingly lit, and a red Bentley parked in front of the main building. From the driver’s window, Monica Usher saw Finn Morgan’s car in the parking space.

She got out of the car and walked into the company.

A few minutes later, in the brightly lit CEO’s office, upon hearing footsteps, Finn Morgan looked up, "President Usher, why are you still at the office?"

"Looking for you." Monica Usher walked towards him, "Are you done?"

"I just finished a project plan. The CEO is very concerned about this complete set of Eldoria Royal New Year’s jewelry collection." Finn Morgan said, "But I was about to leave."

"I wanted to talk to you about something personal." She asked directly, "Why did Justin Kingston and Mia Lane end up together? They are people from different worlds."

"Sorry." Finn Morgan tidied up the desk, "I never inquire into the CEO’s personal affairs."

"Finn Morgan." Monica Usher looked at him intently, "I’m here talking to you as a friend!"

Finn Morgan thought for a moment and said, "Feelings are about fate, you’ve been with the CEO for so many years without any sparks, forgive me for being blunt, but that’s a lack of fate."

"You’ve never loved someone, you don’t understand!" Monica Usher’s emotions were a bit agitated, "Fate is not destined by heaven, it’s about people’s actions! Everyone thinks Justin Kingston and I are a match made in heaven, it’s only been two years since I left, I can’t accept the fact of him getting married!"

"You just said it’s a fact." Finn Morgan considered her a friend and understood her feelings, "Since it’s a fact, try to accept it."

"Finn Morgan, I just want to ask you one question today, when did Mia Lane first appear in his life?"

"Do you know they have a child? If that counts, then at least seven years ago."

"The child was just an accident!" Monica Usher reassured herself, "The marriage certificate was received the day before yesterday, not a hidden marriage for seven years! When did they meet for the second time?"

"President Usher..." Finn Morgan pondered, "The heart can see what the eyes can’t, do you still think the timing is important?"

This statement dealt a deep blow to Monica Usher, and she suddenly became a bit clearer.

In the departing red Bentley, she gripped the steering wheel tightly, her cold eyes staring at the night ahead! Recalling what Finn Morgan just said.

She silently vowed to stay at Kingston Group headquarters to help him, working hard to share his worries!

Standing where he can see! Outshining that woman a hundredfold!

As the night deepened, in the master villa at Emerald Cove, Justin Kingston and Mia Lane lay on the bed in the master bedroom, under the same quilt, with a distance between them.

The atmosphere was filled with two words—awkward silence.

After a little while, the bedroom door was gently pushed open, and Gigi pulled Dolly in.

"Why aren’t you asleep yet?" Mia Lane half-sat up, having forgotten to lock the door.

"Mommy, Daddy." The children stood at the bedside, noticing the wide distance between the two adults, Gigi immediately frowned, "How can you sleep so far apart?"

Gigi climbed onto the bed with a serious expression, "Daddy, this is your fault. You should hold Mommy while sleeping!" Speaking, he opened Justin Kingston’s arm and pulled Mia Lane right into it, confidently saying, "Recent research shows that Daddy and Mommy cuddling during sleep is beneficial for a child’s development!"

Gigi got off the bed, gesturing with Dolly together, "Good night! No separating!" They turned off the lights as they left the room.

Once again, Justin Kingston smelled the familiar fragrance emanating from her, and Mia Lane clearly heard his breathing and heartbeat.

He remained in place, not moving, and neither did she...

The atmosphere grew even more awkward, with a hint of subtle ambiguity.

"You can leave, you don’t need to stay here anymore, giving you your freedom."

Just as Mia Lane closed her eyes preparing to sleep, the man’s voice poured down like a bucket of cold water.
