CHAPTER 750: CHAPTER 750: DON’T BE SO CASUAL, OKAY?

"Congratulations to Mr. Morgan and Miss Hale, wishing you eternal happiness." The reporters offered their blessings once more. They were objective, being partners of the Kingston Group.

Finn Morgan also thanked them again, "Thank you for your hard work, please go ahead and get busy."

By etiquette, he needed to go in and greet the elders of the Hale Family, which everyone understood, so after a simple farewell, they dispersed.

Hailey Hale finally had time to look around the setup. It felt different from the perspective upstairs, like being enveloped in a steady sense of happiness.

Two of Justin Kingston’s men, friends of Finn Morgan, remained in the yard and took out two boxes of expensive tea from the car.

Finn Morgan reached out to take them, "Thank you." He glanced around and saw an elegant middle-aged woman standing at the door. He was prepared for everything.

Exchanging a glance with Hailey Hale, Finn Morgan held her hand as they walked toward the living room.

Paige returned to the sofa, sat down, and picked up a teacup, her expression serene and composed.

After entering, Hailey Hale handed the large bouquet of roses to Sister May beside her, who accepted them with a smile. Though the ceremony was simple, it was very romantic.

Seeing them together, Sister May was genuinely pleased. She had always been a good judge of character, and this Special Assistant Morgan, with his bushy eyebrows and big eyes, was reliable.

"Mom." Hailey spoke softly.

Finn Morgan stood by the coffee table, handed the two boxes of tea to Sister May, and then looked at the woman sitting on the sofa, "Auntie, words feel so inadequate. I will prove with my actions that I will treat Hailey well."

Paige set the teacup down, a slight smile gracing her lips, a gentle look in her eyes as she gazed at him, "Good, then your Uncle Hale and I will keep our eyes open, watching, waiting, and hoping."

Finn Morgan still held onto Hailey, their fingers interlocked tightly.

Just when Hailey Hale felt a bit awkward, not knowing what to say, Paige waved her hand, "You both go on, live your young people’s lives. Since you’re officially dating today, a dinner together is a must, right?"

Finn Morgan was surprised but delighted, "Yes!"

"Make sure it’s no less elegant than last night." Paige glanced at the clock on the wall, "Bring her back before eight tonight. The unengaged shouldn’t live together."

Hailey felt awkward, a slight blush on her face.

"Yes!" Finn was thrilled, "I’ll remember your advice, Auntie! So, should we go now?" Finn released her hand and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, whispering joyfully in her ear, "Hailey, shall we go?"

As he led her away a few steps, Hailey Hale looked back, "Goodbye, Mom."

Paige gave her a smile.

In her mother’s smile, there was respect, understanding, encouragement, and blessing.

Now fully at ease, Hailey followed Finn Morgan to the yard, where he opened the car door for her, still reluctant to let go of her hand.

Gazing at her like that, he couldn’t help but want to plant a soft kiss on her forehead, but Hailey pushed him away just in time, "No!"

"Why?" This made Finn’s heart tremble, "Have you changed your mind?"

Hailey gave him a glance, wondering how his mind worked like that.

She slipped into the car, shutting the door herself.

Having never been in a relationship, Finn Morgan returned to the driver’s seat full of questions, feeling a bit awkward, "I just wanted to kiss your forehead, does that bother you too?"

"It’s not that it bothers me." She glanced at him, not angry, "Can’t we not be so casual? Today should be full of meaningful gestures; how could we just be kissing like this outside the car?"

So she wasn’t forbidding it?

Finn felt relieved and started the car, asking cheerily, "What do you want to eat?"

"How about a walk by the river? The weather’s nice today." Hailey glanced out the window. "Mainly, the breeze feels good, and my mood matches it."

"Alright, whatever you say."

Finn drove the car towards the riverside, "How’s your arm? Are your legs hurting? Can you walk?"

"I can only say Dr. Shelby’s medicine works wonders." The girl turned to him with a smile, "It doesn’t hurt at all, really!"

Thankfully, there was Ian Shelby, and Finn was deeply grateful to him.

But thinking of Ian, Finn felt a bit awkward again, pondering for a moment before cautiously asking, "Do you still like him?"
