CHAPTER 887: CHAPTER 887: GIGI AND DOLLY TAG ALONG

Clearly, the two kids had arrived at the office, and Hailey Hale was quite happy, quickening her pace.

She wasn’t much older, and she had always had a special bond with Gigi and Dolly.

When they walked into the CEO’s office, the kids turned their heads at the sound, and excitedly rushed towards them—

"Sister Hailey! Uncle Finn!"

"Change what you call him!" Hailey squatted down at the doorway and hugged them, "From now on, call him Brother Finn! Calling him Uncle sounds so old!"

"Hello, Brother Finn!"

The kids were very sweet, immediately changing what they called him, and shouted to Finn, "Brother Finn, you two are really a perfect match!"

Upon hearing this, Finn felt as if his heart were filled with honey, "CEO Kingston, President Lane." He walked forward to greet his two bosses.

"You two finally decided to come to work?" Mia Lane asked teasingly. They had taken time off recently, without giving detailed reasons.

"No." Finn said, "We need to take another three days off, Hailey and I are going to have a wedding first."

Justin Kingston and Mia Lane were both slightly stunned, clearly taken aback.

A wedding?

So soon??

"Yes, you heard right." Hailey walked over holding the children’s hands, "Finn and I are having a flash wedding."

"Congratulations." Mia Lane, as a modern woman, could accept such things, "I’m rooting for you both."

Then, Finn informed everyone, "Melissa has late-stage lung cancer, and even Dr. Shelby is helpless. She only has about a month left, maybe even less."

Hailey said, "Getting us married was Melissa’s wish."

Mia was slightly surprised, then fell into contemplation, "If even Ian can’t do anything, it really is very unfortunate."

"Dr. Shelby said it was discovered too late, and her organs have already started to fail. Now, doctors are giving her conservative treatment, and her condition worsens by the day."

Mia could understand Melissa’s mindset at this time, "Mainly because she knows about her illness, her internal resolve can easily collapse, and her progression towards death accelerates."

There was a brief moment of silence in the office, this wedding was destined to be a mix of joy and sorrow.

Justin reached out to hold Mia’s shoulder, "Do you want to go see her?"

"If Ian says so, it means hope is slim. If I go, it just adds more disappointment." Mia looked at Finn, "Chinese medicine is a long process and really tests patience. Even after all that, it may take half a year without being able to bring her back from the brink."

Hailey understood, "Organ failure is practically a death sentence, isn’t it?"

"Yes." Mia still trusted Ian’s judgment.

Actually, Finn knew too, if even Dr. Shelby was powerless, there was no need to struggle further.

Sometimes fate has its own arrangements, let her leave joyfully and peacefully.

"We’ve decided to go take wedding photos this afternoon." Hailey asked Justin, "Which of your subsidiary studios is the best?"

"Sister, I want to go too!" Gigi happily tugged her hand, looking up cutely, "Can I go?"

"I want to go too!" Dolly was also very excited, "I want to see Sister Hailey in her wedding dress! I promise not to be noisy or disruptive!"

"Of course!" Hailey readily agreed, "I’ll take you!"

She liked Gigi and Dolly and certainly didn’t mind taking them along.

So, Justin recommended the three most reputable studios under their company’s name.

After a quick discussion with Finn, they finally settled on one.

One phone call later, staff on the other end were ready to come and pick them up.

"Daddy, Mommy, can we go too?"

After getting nods of approval from Justin and Mia, Gigi and Dolly happily followed Finn and Hailey out.

On the way to the studio, they sat in the same car.

The studio staff handed them a photo album to look at, "What style would the two of you like to shoot?"

"What styles do you have?" Hailey accepted the album, "This is our first time, so we don’t have any experience."
