Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations
Chapter 93: Take Her on a Date
CHAPTER 93: CHAPTER 93: TAKE HER ON A DATE
Mia Lane walked over to him, picked up another glass of wine from the coffee table, "A date?"
"Do whatever you want, go wherever you like." He took a sip of wine, his voice deep and magnetic, "I can also fulfill your wishes, as long as I can do it."
What does he want to do?
Get closer to her, try to understand her?
Thinking of the intimate photos of him with Monica Usher in the office, Mia suddenly felt a surge of vigilance.
"How many women have you said that to?" she asked half-jokingly, half-seriously.
"Whoever I’ve slept with, I’ve said that to," Justin Kingston replied frankly.
"Then..." She took a sip of wine, "how many have you slept with?"
Justin just gave her a meaningful look, without directly answering, thinking the question was quite childish.
"Think about tomorrow’s plan, you can tell me in the morning." Justin reached out to pinch a strand of hair by her ear, suddenly leaned close to her ear, "You look beautiful today."
For a second, it felt as if Mia heard the sound of flowers blooming in her heart.
Tonight, she truly stunned Justin.
At night, lying on the soft double bed, she lay beside him.
"Actually, I’m really happy," Mia knew he wasn’t asleep yet, "those drafts were never meant to see the light of day, I didn’t expect them to be highly recognized by the queen, it’s like everything’s being used to its fullest."
"Thank you so much for today." Justin spoke from the heart, his voice rich, like a well-brewed cup of hot coffee, "I never expected you to give me such a surprise."
Next morning.
Mia got up early and cooked noodles for him.
Since they were going on a date, she was naturally in a good mood, girls love to have fun, especially with a handsome guy, right?
Butler Shelby was very pleased, feeling that this home was increasingly filled with the scent of love.
When Justin came downstairs, a faint smile played on his lips, he was in a good mood as well.
"Good morning, Mr. Kingston." The butler was genuinely joyful.
"Morning."
Upstairs, in the children’s room.
"Dolly, Daddy is taking Mommy out for fun." Gigi emerged from under the quilt, her hair all messed up, "Can you guess where they’re going?"
Dolly sat up in bed, rubbed her eyes, "Aren’t they planning to take us?"
"Even if they want to take us, we should refuse!" Gigi emphasized, "We shouldn’t be a third wheel at a time like this!"
"Brother, do you think Mommy’s willing to help Daddy really because of us? Isn’t there a bit of a chance it’s because she likes Daddy?"
This question was profound, Gigi thought seriously!
"Not sure," Gigi stated confidently, "but Daddy is so outstanding, someday Mommy will definitely be charmed by him!"
Downstairs, Justin and Mia had finished breakfast.
They were about to leave, Mia glanced at the stairs, "Gigi and Dolly..."
"It’s our date," Justin reminded her, "let’s not bring the little tagalongs, okay?"
She thought for a moment, then followed him to the yard.
She looked at the limited edition Lamborghini, "Let’s not take this, it’s too flashy and easily tracked by the media."
"I’ll listen to you."
"Let’s go!" Mia ran toward the main gate of the yard.
The morning sun shone in the yard, sparkling into countless bright points on her body.
Justin caught up, "We’re not walking, right?"
"You said you’d listen to me today!" She twirled around as she ran, "Walking is healthier! If we get tired, we’ll hail a cab!"
Even though they had a car and driver, they decided to hail a cab?
But Justin was willing to listen to her today.
Butler Shelby stood at the living room door watching, observing Mr. Kingston and his wife running away into the distance.
He was genuinely pleased!
Mr. Kingston hadn’t smiled so happily in a long time.
"Hey, have you ever flown a kite?" Mia asked as they walked.
Justin stepped forward against the wind, "No, I haven’t."
"Then shall we fly kites today?" She turned halfway around, walking backward in front of him, "It’s a sunny day with not a cloud in the sky, perfect for kite flying!"
He said he’d listen to her.
For Justin, as long as he was with her, it seemed like everything was okay.
So they went to buy kites, and then came to a wide grass field by the river.
"Let all your worries fly away!" Mia taught him how to manage the kite string, "Let’s see who can fly it the highest!"
Watching her run away with the kite, like a fairy descending to the mortal world.
"Alright, let’s see!" Justin, afraid of nothing, chased after her! The kite in his hand also began to soar.
The sounds of laughter and joy drifted through the air, as they ran with the strings faraway! The beautiful kite flew higher and higher.
"Are you happy?"
Mia and Justin sat on the grass, holding the strings, looking up at the kites dancing in the sky.
Justin glanced at her, gently brushing away a strand of hair blown across her face by the wind, "As long as you’re happy, I’m happy."
