CHAPTER 19: CHAPTER 19: MY BRAIN IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE
Alaric Faulkner stepped out of the bathtub and headed outside.
In the walk-in closet, Eleanor Sterling was bending over searching for something, the evening gown wrapping her waist with elegance, her bent position further accentuating the line of her hips to the extreme.
When Alaric Faulkner first laid eyes on Eleanor Sterling earlier, he was struck by her breathtaking beauty, her face possessing an aggressive allure.
Staring at her back, another wave of heat surged in his lower abdomen, and he walked toward Eleanor with brooding eyes.
When Alaric Faulkner got up from the bathtub, Eleanor Sterling was several walls away, not hearing the commotion, and now she was too focused to notice his presence.
It wasn’t until he was close to her that she turned around warily.
She didn’t expect to meet a pair of eyes as dark as night, with flames flickering within them, as if they could consume her.
"Al... Alaric Faulkner?"
Seeing his eyes that seemed ready to devour her, Eleanor felt a sense of danger. As she tried to step back, he grabbed her.
In the next second, she was pressed against the wall.
He lowered his head and seized her lips fiercely, a sweeping kiss crashing down.
"Mmm... Let me go."
Eleanor’s mind was about to explode; she had been forcibly kissed by this bastard man!
She struggled violently, reaching out to push against Alaric Faulkner’s chest, but he wouldn’t let her escape, holding the back of her head and kissing even deeper.
Eleanor seized a moment to breathe and kicked hard towards the man’s vulnerable spot.
She kicked without holding back, wanting nothing more than to incapacitate him.
"Alaric Faulkner, are you a dog in heat? Go find Faye Sterling, stop hovering in front of me!"
Eleanor was decent at self-defense, but against this man, she seemed lacking, especially when his rationality was not entirely clear.
Alaric Faulkner didn’t respond to Eleanor’s words.
He just found the woman too noisy, wanting only to silence her and punish her harshly.
Thus, he followed his inner desire, deeply kissing her sweet and soft lips.
Alaric’s kissing skills weren’t great, more aligned with male instinct, even to the point of bruising her lips, with a faint taste of blood starting to emerge.
Eleanor wanted to speak but couldn’t make a sound, opening her mouth only facilitated the man’s forceful intrusion, laying siege.
Except for that time seven years ago when Faye Sterling set her up, Eleanor had never felt so helpless, her mind briefly blank, certain fragments from that time flashing by.
Finally, he released her lips, swollen from torment, his head continuing downward.
Alaric Faulkner had gone mad, truly intending to take her!
Eleanor was so furious she wanted to kill.
She grabbed the hairpin she had turned out next to her and stabbed it fiercely at the acupuncture point on Alaric’s nape.
Pain struck, and Alaric let out a muffled grunt.
He paused for a moment, raising his head, his pitch-black eyes shamelessly staring at her.
Gazing into those beast-like, aggressive eyes, Eleanor couldn’t help but tremble.
How could he be okay? Her hand was sticky with blood, clearly indicating she had hit him.
A bout of dizziness overwhelmed her, and Eleanor found herself pinned against the soft carpet. Then, he held her wrists above her head, pressing down on her knees as well.
Her entire body was in a humiliating posture!
Her evening gown was a high-slit style, and amidst all this turmoil, the hem was hiked up to her thighs, exposing her fair skin, utterly tempting.
Eleanor was somewhat panicked.
"Wait, Alaric Faulkner, I’m your sister-in-law, stop right now."
