CHAPTER 31: CHAPTER 31: CRIPPLING HADES FU

Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner stood to the side, arms around each other’s shoulders, enthusiastically watching the confrontation between the two.

"Hey, do you think they might actually start fighting?"

Caleb Faulkner shook his head, "I don’t know."

He had never seen Alaric Faulkner like this before; he had always been lukewarm towards Faye Sterling.

Alaric Faulkner walked over to the sofa and sat down, saying coolly, "Our accounts go beyond just that one debt."

Eleanor Sterling gritted her teeth, "Isn’t it just fifty million? What else is there?"

She turned to glance at Estelle Sterling and said, "It was my son who stole your money. How about I offer him as collateral, and you can torture him however you want."

Estelle Sterling’s face turned dark beside them.

Damn it, what a heartless mother, is he really her biological son?

Alaric Faulkner crossed his legs, his gaze intense on Eleanor Sterling, "When you did the acupuncture today, you targeted the wrong spot. You need to take full responsibility."

"What!" Eleanor Sterling was shocked, her eyes scrutinized between his legs, looking sympathetic.

"You... you’re crippled?"

Impossible. Her acupuncture skills had always been outstanding; making a mistake like this was just out of the question.

Estelle Sterling was surprised and said, "No way, Sister Eleanor, if you really messed up, wouldn’t Hades latch onto you for it?"

Eleanor Sterling glared at her fiercely, "Get lost."

"Alright, then I’ll take Caleb to the room so we don’t disturb your bonding time, hehe."

After speaking, Estelle Sterling dragged Caleb Faulkner into the room.

Eleanor Sterling wished she could punch him, that brat!

What does he mean by ’bonding time’?

After entering the room, Estelle Sterling popped his head back out, "Oh, remember to make some food when you’re done talking, I’m hungry."

Eleanor Sterling’s face changed as Estelle Sterling closed the door just before she could curse him.

Looking at Alaric Faulkner sitting there nonchalantly, Eleanor Sterling crossed her arms, "President Faulkner, I’ll pay you back in three days. As for your lower body issue, I don’t think it’s related to me."

"Are you calling me a liar?"

Eleanor Sterling snorted, "Hard to say, I’m beginning to suspect you just want to extort more money out of me. How about this, I’ll give you an extra five million."

She wore a pained expression, sighing...

All the money earned over the years was gone.

Alaric Faulkner sneered, standing up and approaching Eleanor Sterling, "Do I look like someone who needs five million?"

Eleanor Sterling took a step back, watching Alaric Faulkner warily. He truly didn’t lack that kind of money, so why was he still pestering her for it?

"Then... if it’s not about the money, what do you want?"

Think of something, Eleanor Sterling’s face turned pale. "President Faulkner, I’m a woman who’s had children, and your sister-in-law. Your taste isn’t that heavy, right?"

Earlier at the Sterling Family’s place, she could barely attribute Alaric Faulkner’s behavior to being influenced by medication.

If it weren’t for the disgust, she might have actually stirred things up with Alaric Faulkner just to irritate Faye Sterling, but her bottom line prevented her from doing that.

Alaric Faulkner’s eyes showed a hint of intrigue upon hearing her words. So what if his taste was that heavy?

Yet he found himself rejected by Eleanor Sterling, which was frankly irritating when he thought about it.

Alaric Faulkner sneered, "Can’t wait to offer yourself up?"

No way!

Eleanor Sterling really wanted to pry open his head to see what his brain was made of. When had she ever been eager to offer herself up?

"You don’t have to pay back the money," Alaric Faulkner said in a deep voice.

Could such luck really exist?

Eleanor Sterling looked at him suspiciously. She didn’t believe Alaric Faulkner could be so kind. He must have some ulterior motive.

"And then?"

"I’ll visit you here twice a week until you resolve the issue for me."

Eleanor Sterling looked at him deeply and asked cautiously, "President Faulkner, are you really impotent?"

Alaric Faulkner sneered, "Wanna give it a try? Maybe I can find some feeling with you."

Upon hearing this, Eleanor Sterling quickly shook her head, "No, no, no, no need for that. I’ll definitely put my best effort into curing you!"
