CHAPTER 50: CHAPTER 50: ALARIC FAULKNER TOOK HER AWAY

Alaric Faulkner led Eleanor Sterling out through the side door without alerting anyone.

He carried her into the car, placed her on the passenger seat, and leaned over to fasten her seatbelt.

They were so close that they could sense each other’s presence. Eleanor looked up at Alaric, not opposing him for the first time.

Seeing Eleanor staring at him, Alaric thought she was uncomfortable and reached out to feel her forehead.

Eleanor’s face flushed, and she quickly averted her gaze.

Her cheeks were burning, making her forehead feel a bit warm.

Alaric asked softly, "Do you have a fever?"

"No."

It’s just that her limbs were too weak to move.

Seeing that Eleanor still seemed normal, Alaric closed the car door, took the driver’s seat, and drove off.

At the Sterling Family home, in the living room.

Seth Sullivan and Gregory Sterling had been sitting for a long time now; his smile had become stiff, yet Alaric still hadn’t returned.

His handsome face darkened.

Why did Alaric take so long for a restroom break? Was he constipated?

Faye Sterling was also glancing around; Alaric had disappeared right after she went to make tea.

Seth spoke up, "I’ll go see if Alaric needs help."

After saying this, Seth walked to the corner and took out his phone to call Alaric.

The call connected quickly.

"Hello." Alaric’s indifferent voice came through.

Seth cursed angrily, "Hello, my ass! Aren’t you supposed to be in the restroom? You’ve been in there for an hour? Constipated, are you?"

"I’ve already left. Just find an excuse to leave, drive, and hang up."

After saying that, Alaric hung up the phone.

"Damn!" Seth swore under his breath, staring incredulously at his phone.

Did Alaric just ditch him? Using the excuse of a restroom break to leave the Sterling Family, leaving him there alone? What was he trying to pull?

Seth ground his teeth in frustration.

He had been fooled by a friend, sold out for no apparent reason.

Seth could only put away his phone and return to the living room.

After another five minutes, Seth found an excuse and left the Sterling Family home.

Gregory Sterling, Rosalie Ray, and Faye Sterling saw him out.

Rosalie furrowed her brows, "Why did Alaric bring Mr. Sullivan without saying a word?"

Faye shook her head, "I don’t know. I’ve never met his friends before.

Alaric has always been cold towards her, never introducing his friends like he did today.

Gregory said deeply, "Alright, let’s go back. Maybe Alaric really did have a stomach issue. Do you think we should bring him some medicine?"

Earlier, Seth said Alaric wasn’t feeling well, so they didn’t suspect anything.

Faye immediately said, "I’ll get him some medicine!"

With that, she went to get some anti-diarrheal medicine from the medicine cabinet, intending to take it to Alaric in the restroom.

Five minutes later, Faye came running out in a panic, "Mom, Alaric isn’t in the restroom. Has he already left?"

Rosalie was startled, "Impossible, we didn’t see him leave."

"But I checked every restroom, and he’s nowhere to be found."

Suddenly, Rosalie’s face turned grim, and she said urgently, "Go check the basement, see if that little brat is still there."

Faye quickly went to check the basement, but Eleanor Sterling was nowhere to be seen.

She immediately ran out to cry to Rosalie, "Mom! Eleanor is really gone, what do we do? Alaric must have taken her away."

Rosalie gritted her teeth, "Damn, that little brat really did hook up with Alaric."

"Mom, what should we do?"

Gregory’s face was gloomy, and he said coldly, "Alright, maybe Alaric just happened to take Eleanor away by accident. Even if we know, what can we do about it?"

These words sent a chill through Faye’s heart.

Exactly, even if she knew Alaric had taken Eleanor, what could she do?

Her hands clenched by her side, teeth grinding.

Damn Eleanor, she definitely wouldn’t let her off!
