Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!
Chapter 69: This Is My Mommy
CHAPTER 69: CHAPTER 69: THIS IS MY MOMMY
Veridia City, International Airport.
The sky was just getting light, and the airport was already bustling with people. Eleanor Sterling and Estelle Sterling were peering at the exit passage.
Estelle’s little eyes sneakily glanced around; how come she hadn’t seen Alaric Faulkner yet? She had clearly given him the heads-up.
Just then, a surprised voice came from the side.
"Eleanor Mommy, what a coincidence!"
Eleanor turned her head and saw Alaric Faulkner appearing together with Caleb Faulkner.
Immediately, a hint of surprise flashed across her face.
Eleanor suspiciously looked at Alaric, asking, "What are you two doing here?"
It was indeed quite a coincidence, but she felt that such an encounter wouldn’t be something Alaric would orchestrate.
Caleb raised a smile and said, "We’re here to pick up Uncle. Are you guys here to pick someone up too?"
Hearing this, Eleanor’s slightly furrowed brows relaxed as she nodded, "Yes, we are."
Maybe she really was overthinking it.
Just as the two were exchanging pleasantries, people began to emerge from the airport passage one after another.
Eleanor immediately turned to look for Micah Moss in the crowd.
In the crowd, Jasper Faulkner was rubbing his neck while complaining to his assistant beside him, "This plane is so outdated, it made my waist sore and legs ache, and I’m feeling uncomfortable all over."
Suddenly, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening as he looked ahead, "Charles, do you see if that’s my brother in front?"
Following his gaze, Charles looked over and immediately nodded, "President, that’s the eldest young master, and next to him are young master Caleb, a woman, and a child."
Jasper finally realized something was off.
That’s right, the woman!
In recent years, besides that woman Faye Sterling, Alaric hadn’t had contact with any other women.
So he’s actually brought another woman to pick him up!
And there’s even a child!
Jasper’s suspicious gaze searched Estelle’s face, noting how she looked seventy percent similar to Caleb, and a thought leapt into his mind.
Could it be this is another one of his brother’s children from outside?
Jasper walked toward Alaric.
Seeing him, Caleb immediately waved, "Uncle."
"Brother." Jasper greeted casually, then began scrutinizing Eleanor, amazed at what he saw.
This woman was much prettier than Faye Sterling.
There’s no denying that Alaric’s taste has improved.
Noticing Jasper’s unabashed gaze, Eleanor’s mind flashed with information about him.
The Faulkner Family’s second young master, Jasper Faulkner.
Seeing Eleanor staring at him, Jasper grinned, "Hello."
He looked at Alaric, "Should I be calling her Sister-in-law?"
Alaric: "..."
Eleanor’s mouth twitched slightly, what nonsense?
Jasper leaned in close to Alaric and whispered, "Brother, did you send that woman from the Faulkner Family away? Is this a new one?"
"No," Alaric replied in a deep voice.
"Then who is she? And is that kid your illegitimate son?"
Alaric gave him a cold look, and Jasper immediately shut up.
"Alright, let’s hurry and leave. The seating on the plane is too cramped; I’m exhausted and need to adjust to the time difference."
Alaric and Caleb, however, remained unmoved.
Jasper looked at them, bewildered, "What is it? Still waiting for someone?"
"We’re leaving with Eleanor Mommy," Caleb said earnestly.
Beside them, Eleanor was speechless.
"President Faulkner, you can leave first."
Even though it was a chance encounter at the airport, there was no need to leave together, was there? Eleanor didn’t want to get involved with Alaric.
"It’s okay, we’ll wait for you," Alaric said in a calm voice, ignoring Jasper’s increasingly impatient demeanor.
Jasper finally realized something was off. He pulled Caleb aside and quietly asked, "Hey, little Yi, what’s going on here?"
Caleb responded, "We’re coincidentally running into Eleanor Mommy."
What? A coincidental encounter?
Jasper glanced at Eleanor and asked, "Isn’t my brother courting this woman?"
"Exactly, she’s my mommy," Caleb nodded.
Jasper was utterly bewildered.
