CHAPTER 693: CHAPTER 693: THE INVITATIONS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT
Last time, Ronan Keating missed the press conference with Claire Truman, which caused Claire a great deal of embarrassment, and both the Truman Family and The Keating Family were furious.
Tristan Keating promised the Truman Family that he would supervise Ronan Keating to prevent any more mishaps and even moved their wedding date forward.
Previously, Yvette Ray had knocked Ronan out and was then sent away to Serene Isle by Eleanor Sterling.
Upon waking, Ronan was furious and wanted to look for her, but was forcibly sent back to Country K by Tristan.
With no choice, he could only return first, and as for the matter of Yvette’s disappearance, he would have to think of another way.
On this day, Ronan arranged to meet Jordan Hawthorne.
Jordan Hawthorne is the head of Nightfall in Country K, controlling this secretive organization.
In the living room of The Keating Family, Jordan raised an eyebrow at Ronan and asked with a light smile, "I wonder what business the fifth young master of the Keating Family has with me?"
Ronan looked at Jordan and said, "I’d like Nightfall’s help to find someone. Her information and photos are all here."
Upon hearing this, Jordan picked up the envelope and opened it.
Seeing Yvette Ray’s picture, his expression twitched slightly but was quickly concealed.
He knew Ronan was seeking him for matters related to Yvette and was aware of her whereabouts.
Eleanor Sterling had arranged a false identity for Yvette with Jordan’s assistance.
Jordan did not refuse; he took the envelope and said, "Although Nightfall covers many areas, I cannot guarantee we’ll find her. I must prepare you mentally first."
Upon hearing this, Ronan frowned, "I hope you can fully assist me; I can pay any amount, consider it a favor owed. If Nightfall needs help in K Country, feel free to say so."
Jordan couldn’t help but chuckle.
Is this really about owing a favor?
If he revealed Yvette’s location to Ronan, wouldn’t Eleanor skin him alive?
Jordan maintained a lightly smiling demeanor, took a sip of tea, and continued, "Alright, I’ll do what I can to help."
Seeing Jordan’s nonchalant attitude, Ronan wasn’t sure if he would take the search seriously.
The Keating Family still held significant influence in Country K; Jordan wouldn’t face Ronan head-on, opting for the facade of complying outwardly but defying inwardly.
After the discussion, Jordan stood up and left.
After he departed, Tristan approached and, with a cold expression, looked at Ronan and said, "Why are you seeking Nightfall’s people?"
"Some matters." Ronan replied solemnly.
Tristan frowned, "Are you trying to find Yvette?"
"Dad, she did give me a daughter. Even if I am to marry, I want to properly settle her."
"That woman harmed your mother; have you forgotten that?"
Ronan’s expression turned cold; how could he forget?
It was precisely because he couldn’t forget that he fell into repeated self-conflict.
Tristan snorted coldly, "I won’t interfere in your matters, but before you marry Claire and have children, if you stir up trouble again, don’t blame me for being harsh."
He looked at Ronan, warning, "Fifth son, don’t force my hand; you can’t afford the consequences."
Ronan’s handsome face stiffened as he immediately said, "Dad, I assure you I won’t act out; please do not interfere!"
If Tristan were truly to intervene, Yvette might lose her life.
"It’s best that way! Invitations have already been sent out; prepare to marry Claire."
With that said, Tristan turned and left.
Ronan’s face was ashen, and he sighed silently.
