Claire Truman’s face was composed, her eyes full of displeasure and anger over the disrupted wedding.

The emcee spoke a few kind words, and the guests responded with smiles, easing the tense atmosphere.

Ronan Keating neither refuted nor acknowledged earlier, appearing completely indifferent, as if he weren’t the groom.

Eleanor Sterling slowly curled her lips; this wedding was destined to be tumultuous. Watching Claire Truman and Ronan Keating, she felt quite pleased.

At this moment, the doors to the banquet hall slammed open, and everyone turned to look.

Standing at the entrance was the figure of Yvette Ray.

Seeing Yvette Ray, Ronan Keating, who had been absent-minded all evening, suddenly froze, staring at her intently.

Wasn’t she supposed to be on Serene Isle? How did she suddenly come here?

Yvette Ray walked towards Claire Truman, while Ronan Keating gazed at Yvette Ray, longing to reach out, "Yvette."

"Get lost." Yvette Ray’s face was cold and determined, avoiding his touch.

She now found Ronan Keating repulsive; he had conspired with Claire Truman to kill her daughter.

Yvette Ray’s eyes glared full of resentment at Claire Truman; then she stretched out her hand and slapped her hard.

The crisp sound echoed throughout the banquet hall.

Everyone was stunned; no one expected Yvette Ray to actually appear here and even hit someone, truly audacious.

"Yvette Ray, don’t cause trouble."

Ronan Keating stepped forward, trying to grab her, but Yvette Ray extended her hand and slapped Ronan Keating as well.

Ronan Keating’s handsome face was slapped to one side, yet he didn’t get angry. He held onto Yvette Ray, trying to take her away from the wedding scene.

Yvette Ray looked at Ronan Keating with bloodshot eyes, grit her teeth, and said one word at a time, "Ronan Keating, the hatred between us is irreconcilable!"

Listening to Yvette Ray’s resolute words, Ronan Keating’s heart suddenly ached; he didn’t understand why Yvette Ray suddenly hated him so deeply. Was it because he was marrying Claire Truman?

He was compelled to do so.

Simon Truman stepped forward to protect Claire Truman, his face unfriendly as he looked at Yvette Ray, angrily saying, "How dare you hit Claire?"

Mr. Truman was also displeased, saying to Tristan Keating, "You’re just standing there watching someone cause chaos here? Claire is your wife, and you’re letting her be bullied?"

Tristan Keating saw Yvette Ray had come and made such a scene, his face instantly darkened.

He sternly shouted, "Get her out of here!"

Eleanor Sterling saw the situation was off and immediately signaled to Estelle Sterling and Caleb Faulkner.

The brothers at the corner were fiddling with a laptop and, upon receiving Eleanor Sterling’s signal, instantly shut down all the circuits in the banquet hall.
