CHAPTER 721: CHAPTER 721: WHAT EXACTLY DOES HE WANT TO DO

Eleanor Sterling started her work at the Academy of Medicine’s Traditional Chinese Medicine department today, but she received a call from Xander Lawson just as she stepped through the door.

She swiped to answer, and Xander’s slightly anxious voice came through, "Hey, Eleanor Sterling, have you seen Stella?"

Eleanor frowned and said, "No, but she did arrange to have lunch with me today."

"She’s disappeared! I can’t get through to her phone, and I suspect something has happened to her."

"Where are you? I’ll come find you."

Before long, Eleanor met up with Xander.

With a serious expression, she said, "Let’s check the surveillance footage."

Quickly, the two of them reviewed the footage. They saw Stella on the surveillance, walking through the corridor, but she didn’t return, and the end of the hallway led to the restrooms.

Eleanor quickly drew a conclusion.

"Stella must have been taken in the restroom. Not much time has passed; there’s still time for us to find her now."

Xander’s expression turned grim, "Alright, I’ll immediately arrange a thorough search. We must bring Stella back."

Unexpectedly, Eleanor’s phone suddenly buzzed with a text message. She took it out and glanced at it.

The message was from an anonymous number, instructing her to come alone to a certain address to pay a ransom, or else they would kill the hostage.

Seeing the message, Eleanor’s pupils contracted abruptly.

Stella must be in this person’s hands.

"I think I know where Stella is, but the kidnappers want me to go alone for some reason. You go find Alaric Faulkner and have him figure out a way to assist me."

After speaking, Eleanor removed an earring and handed it to Xander; it was one of a pair that could track each other’s location.

"This can send real-time location information. Have Alaric Faulkner coordinate with Estelle Sterling for positioning."

With that, Eleanor immediately turned and left.

Xander didn’t have time to say anything before Eleanor had already vanished. He clenched the earring in his hand and set off to find Alaric Faulkner.

In the dilapidated abandoned building, Fenrir and Faye Sterling were waiting for Eleanor Sterling to arrive.

Stella Hawthorne was tied to a chair, her small face covered in dust, looking somewhat pitiful.

"Faye Sterling, you used me as bait to lure Eleanor here; President Faulkner won’t let you get away with this."

Faye’s eyes turned dark and menacing, "Not let me get away with it? I won’t let him get away with it!"

Recalling what Alaric Faulkner had done to her, Faye was engulfed in a reckless frenzy, now driven solely by a desire for revenge.

The sound of a car outside made Faye immediately look out the window; Eleanor Sterling had arrived.

Quickly, Eleanor walked in and first saw Fenrir, then Faye Sterling.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

She hadn’t expected these two to be in cahoots!

Eleanor’s face grew cold and stern, "Faye Sterling, what are you trying to do? Let Stella go immediately."

"Shut up, right now Stella is in my hands. Watch your tone; you should be begging me!" Faye shouted angrily.

Seeing Eleanor in such a glamorous state now filled Faye with a deep-seated imbalance.

Eleanor suspected that Faye wasn’t the one in charge here and shifted her gaze to Fenrir.

"Did you have Faye Sterling capture Stella? What is it you want?"

Fenrir grinned wickedly, calmly asking, "Where is Alaric Faulkner?"

Eleanor frowned, her expression turning icy in an instant.

Fenrir was prepared; he knew she would inform Alaric Faulkner? What exactly was he planning?

"Leave this place to you, and as for Eleanor Sterling, I’ll take her with me."

With that, Fenrir stood up, pressing a knife to Eleanor’s neck, "Move!"
