CHAPTER 730: CHAPTER 730: FENRIR’S IDENTITY

Enchant Bar, a symphony of lights and wine.

In the innermost private room, a woman’s singing can be heard, with someone dancing beside her, swaying to the rhythm.

Sitting in the very center of the sofa is a tall man wearing a half-mask, a wicked smile tugging at his lips, calmly and unhurriedly waiting for someone.

Alaric Faulkner navigated through the crowd on the dance floor, smoothly arriving at the door of the private room.

Several burly bodyguards stood guard outside, extending a hand, "Only President Faulkner may enter."

Alaric cast a glance at the people behind him, signaling with his eyes, then opened the door and walked in.

Upon entering, Alaric immediately spotted the man in the center; he sat down opposite him, his expression calm, and asked, "What do you want to do?"

Fenrir’s smile was lazy and defiant, his eyes devoid of warmth, "I don’t want to do anything; I just want to watch a good show."

Alaric’s gaze turned cold as his sharp eyes scanned Fenrir up and down.

He then slowly began, "The grudges of the elders need not be entangled with the descendants. I’m sorry for your mother’s death. If you’re willing, I can share the Faulkner Family with you, but you must cease your actions."

Upon hearing Alaric’s words, the man fell silent, a hint of sharpness flashing in his eyes.

He knew that his identity would eventually be uncovered, but he didn’t expect Alaric to find out so quickly. It seemed he had underestimated Alaric Faulkner.

Alaric regarded him coolly, his expression calm and composed.

From the moment this person inexplicably targeted him, he felt a headache; it was indeed difficult to investigate his background back then.

Previously, it was just him alone, and it didn’t matter what the other party wanted to do.

But things were different now; he had Eleanor Sterling, and he had weaknesses and concerns.

If his information was correct, Fenrir’s real name was Franklin Faulkner, his half-brother, the son of the woman whom his father had wronged.

His mother died because of his father, and so he harbored resentment towards the Faulkner Family, repeatedly seeking him out for revenge.

"Hahaha, you are generous, but unfortunately, I’m not interested in the Faulkner Family. What I want is..." His eyes turned cold, "I want the Faulkner Family to perish!"

Alaric glanced at him indifferently, "Even if the Faulkner Family were gone, your mother cannot be resurrected, and besides, the Faulkner Family is not so easily toppled."

At these words, Franklin laughed loudly again, malice flashing in his eyes, "Old Master Faulkner has pinned his hopes on you to become the Family Head. I just need to kill you; the rest of the Faulkner family isn’t worth mentioning."

As long as Alaric Faulkner is eliminated, the other Faulkner family members are insignificant in his eyes.

Alaric frowned, "Father is dead already. Is it appropriate to vent your anger on other members of the Faulkner family, involving innocent people?"

Franklin seemed unfazed by Alaric’s reasoning, tilting his head slightly, "Do you think too highly of me? I don’t have a heart, much less would I go soft."

He paused, suddenly curling into a meaningful, chilling smile, "Alaric Faulkner, in light of your intelligence, I’ll kindly tell you something and see how you, the smart one, will choose."

Alaric furrowed his brows, unsure of what game Fenrir wanted to play, and waited silently for him to speak.

"You’re poisoned, with a deadly poison!"

Alaric’s brow twitched, his breath stalled for a few seconds before he asked, "And then?"

"And then?" Franklin smirked, stretching his leg onto the coffee table, "Eleanor Sterling is pregnant, isn’t she? She will die."

In the next instant, Alaric’s eyes darkened, his face clouded with hostility, and his entire presence grew cold.
