The acquaintance between Jasper Faulkner and Samuel Langley began just like this, ordinary and without any ups and downs.

Upon seeing him, Jasper Faulkner asked, "Have you been in contact with Thomas Quincy?"

Eleanor said sternly, "My good friend Hazel Langley is in trouble. She inhaled some mysterious white smoke and then fell into a coma. My master has checked her and suspects poisoning."
