Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!
Chapter 86: Stirred Passions
CHAPTER 86: CHAPTER 86: STIRRED PASSIONS
The Sheffield Family Villa.
As Micah Moss had predicted, quite a few people had gathered here.
"It’s Eleanor Sterling’s car!"
Someone shouted, and immediately a group of people surrounded them. With everyone’s encouragement, they fearlessly blocked the front of the car.
Immediately, Eleanor Sterling’s car couldn’t move an inch.
The scene grew chaotic as Micah, in the driver’s seat, looked helpless and said, "We can’t get in."
He rolled down the car window and stuck his head out halfway.
"Could you all please make some space?"
Unexpectedly, Micah’s words didn’t make these people move aside; instead, they started cursing angrily.
"Eleanor Sterling, you shameless bitch!"
"Yeah, how dare she use Yuna’s patent without permission."
"It’s really disgusting. Today Yuna’s apprentice is here. Let’s see her get embarrassed."
"She actually has the nerve to show up. So thick-skinned."
...
Listening to these insults, a cold smile played on the corners of Eleanor Sterling’s lips, giving her extraordinarily beautiful face a strange allure.
"Micah, close the window."
Realizing these people wouldn’t be reasoned with, Micah had no choice but to shut the window. Though the insults softened, parts were still audible.
Eleanor said coldly, "Step on the gas and break through."
"What? Are you crazy?" Micah was startled.
Eleanor chuckled lightly, "Do you really think these people are Yuna’s fans? They’re just paid to stir up trouble. The more you back down, the more they push."
Micah still hesitated.
Eleanor sneered, a glint of coldness flashing in her eyes, "Don’t believe me? Rev the engine."
So, Micah pressed on the brake and revved the engine hard.
The people surrounding the front of the car scattered instantly, fleeing faster than rabbits, afraid Micah might impulsively drive into them.
Seeing this, Micah was stunned.
Eleanor reminded him, "What are you waiting for? Go now."
"Oh!" Micah quickly came back to his senses and swiftly drove through the gap into the Sheffield residence.
The guards held these people at bay, and they could only curse at the entrance.
"So malicious! This woman actually tried to run us over, such disregard for life."
"Shameless rotten woman, truly evil-minded. If I hadn’t moved quickly, I might have been hit."
"This can’t go unnoticed. Such vile behavior must be exposed!"
"Right, let’s expose her together."
...
In the garden, Faye Sterling was sitting next to Anne Adler, saying, "Master, Eleanor Sterling is just too arrogant.
On a day like today, she still dares to be late. Maybe she’s too scared to come. I don’t think she cares about you at all."
Anne only gave her a faint glance, without a word.
Faye curled up a cold smile. She had arranged for people to block Eleanor at the entrance, believing she would be entangled for a long time and unable to get in.
Then she would only be misconstrued as guilty.
Even if she eventually got in, she’d be late.
Just then, Catherine Chapman walked in briskly and whispered into Faye’s ear, "Boss, Eleanor Sterling broke in."
"What did you say!" Faye was startled.
Catherine continued, "Since she forced her way in by car, I’ve already released this news online, and it will surely get her scolded."
Only then did Faye display a cold smile.
Eleanor Sterling really wasn’t afraid of death; she was digging herself a deeper hole.
"Very good, continue to get more trolls involved. Make sure Eleanor Sterling gets scolded more severely."
Catherine agreed, "Okay, I’ll get on it right away."
