Chapter 863: Surrender Now
CHAPTER 863: CHAPTER 863: SURRENDER NOW
Gideon Faulkner looked at Gregory Faulkner, who had just walked in, and upon hearing his words, his face turned black with anger.
He wanted to ask Gregory about Franklin Faulkner too.
But now, both of them had the nerve to confront him first. It was utterly ridiculous!
Gideon Faulkner gritted his teeth, "Ha, brother, you and this person collaborated to trap me. Now it’s the perfect time for me to settle the score with you!"
Upon hearing this, Gregory Faulkner’s face darkened, and he shouted, "I collaborated with him? It was clearly you two who set me up!"
Franklin Faulkner, seeing the two of them quarrel, felt his head buzzing.
They were now accusing each other, clearly all trapped in a setup.
And wasn’t he the same?
Earlier, he thought his people couldn’t enter because of Gregory, but now that he reconsidered, he realized something was amiss.
There had to be someone else after them!
He gritted his teeth and shouted coldly, "Stop arguing! We’ve all been set up."
The two men immediately fell silent, turning to look at Franklin Faulkner.
"We’ve been set up?"
"Who set us up?"
Franklin Faulkner took a deep breath. Who else could it be? It must be Jasper Faulkner. Who else had the ability besides him?
Suddenly, thick smoke began to waft through the air.
In an instant, the entire living room was enveloped in white mist, and the few were caught off guard, inhaling the smoke and immediately coughing harshly.
They wanted to leave the place, but it felt as if their bodies were drained, their legs going weak, and they collapsed to the floor.
"Damn, we’ve been poisoned!"
The smoke gradually dissipated, leaving a few people strewn across the floor. They struggled to get up but to no avail.
As the atmosphere grew tense, a few figures suddenly walked in from outside, and seeing Jasper Faulkner among them, Franklin gritted his teeth viciously.
"Jasper Faulkner! It’s you! You set the trap and trapped all three of us?"
Looking at Franklin’s furious face, Jasper Faulkner smirked coldly and said, "An eye for an eye, the tricks you used on Eleanor, I’m now returning to you entirely.
However... up until now, you still don’t know who harmed you. So perhaps you deserved it."
"What do you mean?"
Franklin Faulkner stared at him in astonishment, somewhat understanding his words, wondering if there was someone else besides him?
Jasper Faulkner slowly stepped back, and a stranger emerged from behind him, someone Franklin recognized.
It seemed to be the bodyguard beside Eleanor Sterling.
He squinted, looking at him hesitantly, "Who are you?"
Alaric Faulkner smiled faintly and said, "What? Don’t you hate me to the bone? Yet you can’t even recognize me?"
Franklin Faulkner’s pupils shrank fiercely a few times, staring at Alaric Faulkner in shock, seemingly unable to believe it.
A faint suspicion arose in his heart.
After a moment, Franklin Faulkner quivered and said, "You... you’re Alaric Faulkner!"
Gregory Faulkner and Gideon Faulkner suddenly widened their eyes at Alaric Faulkner, too shocked to utter a word.
What?
Alaric Faulkner was actually not dead?
Could it be that the widely spread news of his death was fake? Were they all deceived?
Alaric Faulkner looked down at Franklin with cold, merciless eyes and said, "Franklin Faulkner, surrender. The game is over."
