Just after Faye finished explaining, she looked up to see Eleanor walking in with Micah.

Seeing Micah next to Eleanor, Faye smirked and mocked, "Wow, sis, you change men really fast. It’s only been a few days, and you’ve already swapped to a new one?"

Upon hearing Faye’s sarcasm, Eleanor was not upset; instead, she gave a meaningful smile.

She flipped her hair and sighed, "Well, I can’t help it. I just enjoy playing around. Some men, once I’m bored with them, I just toss aside."

After saying this, she seemed reminded of something and suddenly added, "Almost forgot, the man you treasure was someone I got tired of. You’re the one who treats him like a gem."

This remark infuriated Faye tremendously.

What did Alaric see in Eleanor that he was so easily charmed away by her?

Faye clenched her fists and took several deep breaths to quell the anger in her chest.

She turned to Anne and said, "Master, look at how arrogant she is; you have to get justice for me!"

Anne’s smile didn’t reach her eyes.

She thought silently: Who are you? Why should I get justice for you?

If it wasn’t for Eleanor’s request, she would have flipped out already. Faye is really shameless, calling her ’Master’ repeatedly. Did she ever admit it?

Seeing the mockery in Anne’s eyes, Faye thought it was directed at Eleanor, and she felt even more triumphant.

"Master, all the evidence is fully prepared, and the Sheffield Family has agreed to make an appearance after the trial. You don’t need to worry."

"Got it." Anne suppressed her emotions and replied as coolly as possible.

Anne was always indifferent to Faye, and she never suspected anything. Now her goal was to utterly ruin Eleanor.

The Sheffield Family was wary of getting involved in a scandal and decided to actively hand over Eleanor’s manuscript as evidence.

With Anne as her support, Faye felt confident and looked at Eleanor with extreme disdain.

She believed that once Anne appeared, the Sheffield Family would certainly change their mind and choose her design, making Eleanor’s efforts all for nothing.

James and Adeline exchanged glances.

James felt a sense of unease; he knew Eleanor was in deep trouble.

He quickly said, "We will provide the original design drafts given to us by Celeste Jewels and fully cooperate with Master Anne."

"Thank you." Anne smiled faintly.

The original idea of bringing Anne and Eleanor over today was to see if reconciliation was possible, but judging by Anne’s strong stance now, it clearly wasn’t going to happen.

The Sheffield Family was a prestigious name, and they couldn’t get caught up in such a scandal, preferring a less exemplary design.

Fortunately, Eleanor’s design hadn’t been made yet; better not to offend the Sterling Family. It was simpler to switch to Faye.

He approached Adeline to convey this decision and have her negotiate with Eleanor.

Upon leaving, Adeline politely said to Eleanor, "Eldest Miss Sterling, please stay a moment."
