Chapter 94: Teach Her a Good Lesson
CHAPTER 94: CHAPTER 94: TEACH HER A GOOD LESSON
Catherine Chapman came out personally to admit her mistake, taking full responsibility for the matter.
For a time, the online opinion became baffling and confusing.
Although she didn’t drag Faye Sterling down, it was enough to cause her trouble.
Anne Adler sidled up to Estelle Sterling with a grin, praising, "Little Star, you’re really impressive. It’s just a pity you didn’t manage to topple Faye Sterling."
"No worries, a bad woman won’t fall so easily. Let Sister Eleanor handle it personally." Estelle looked proud, waved her little hand, and smiled, "Am I awesome or what? Wanna apprentice under me?"
Anne rolled her eyes, "Come on, you’re already thinking of taking on disciples at such a young age, wait till you grow up before considering that."
Estelle pouted, who says you can’t take on disciples when you’re young?
Anne’s eyes flickered with curiosity as she asked, "Hey, tell me, what’s the deal with that guy who sent an invitation to the master?"
Estelle said it was Eleanor Sterling’s man, but even though she denied it, the following invitation suggested a deep connection.
With a sly glint in her dark eyes, Estelle reached out to Anne, "I could tell you, but it’ll cost you a thousand bucks."
"Damn! Even scamming my money, have you no conscience?" Anne couldn’t help but pull a face and swore, poking Estelle’s forehead.
Estelle sighed, "Sigh, no way around it, little Moira’s illness is a huge money drain, there’s never enough, and I still need to support Sister Eleanor."
Anne knew about Moira Ray’s situation, so she didn’t dwell on it further and obediently transferred money to Estelle.
"So, can you tell me now?"
The little fellow grinned as she saw the transaction, "The guy you saw that day is your disciple’s son.
Although his mom doesn’t get along with Sister Eleanor, he and I get along quite well, and we’re planning something big together!"
Anne looked bewildered, "Wait a minute, when did I have a disci..." She suddenly widened her eyes, "Are you saying that guy is Faye Sterling’s son?"
Estelle nodded.
"Then you said he’s the master’s man’s son, which means Faye Sterling’s man is chasing after my master?"
Estelle gave her a sidelong glance, "First, according to my brother’s intel, his dad doesn’t like Faye Sterling, secondly, that man is indeed pursuing Sister Eleanor, it’s something I arranged with him."
"Whoa!" Anne exclaimed in surprise, "Amazing! Just you, this money-grubbing kid, no wonder you’d match him with the master, Alaric Faulkner, one of the top billionaires in the world."
Estelle rolled her eyes, "You’re talking like I’m planning to sell Sister Eleanor off, this was a decision made after thorough consideration."
Anne sneered, "May I ask if those involved also made the decision?"
She noticed Eleanor was quite resistant to Alaric, perhaps this was all the kid’s one-sided wish.
Estelle: "..."
She gritted her teeth and said, "Alright, I’ve told you everything you wanted to know."
Anne was about to speak when her phone rang.
She glanced at it and saw it was a call from Faye Sterling.
"Hello, what’s up?"
Faye Sterling’s voice came through the phone, "Master, are you free? I’d like to invite you over to talk about Eleanor Sterling."
Anne’s eyes darkened, "Sure."
"Alright, I’ll wait for you at the Faulkner Family."
After hanging up, Estelle crossed her arms and looked at Anne, asking, "What’s that woman planning with you?"
"Probably plotting how to deal with my master."
Estelle was a bit disdainful, saying, "You plan to cooperate with her? Sister Eleanor is your master after all."
Anne raised an eyebrow, her eyes flashing with a hint of cunning, the smile on her lips deepening with a mischievous edge, "Of course not, watch how I deal with her."
Estelle loved mischief and got interested.
"What are you going to do?"
Anne leaned in and whispered into his ear.
The little fellow burst into laughter at her words, "Not bad, I’ll be waiting to see your performance."
The two of them were absolutely in sync when it came to pranking.
