Alaric Faulkner exchanged a few pleasantries with James Sheffield, but still hadn’t seen Eleanor Sterling.

He furrowed his brow slightly, pulled out his phone, and sent Eleanor a text on WeChat, "Where are you?"

The reply came quickly.

Eleanor Sterling: "Getting ready for The Sheffield Family banquet."

Alaric Faulkner’s lips curved slightly, "All right."

Eleanor quickly replied again, "Are you there too? Does this mean I might find out who you really are tonight?"

"Perhaps."

After Alaric replied, there was no more news from Eleanor.

He had just put his phone away when there was a chorus of exclamations at the entrance, making everyone subconsciously turn to look.

Amidst everyone’s astonished gazes, an elegant figure slowly walked in from the entrance.

It was Eleanor Sterling!

The moment she appeared, she drew everyone’s attention.

Eleanor was wearing an evening gown, every move she made was mesmerizing, her dark eyes carried a hint of aloofness, instantly captivating hearts.

Faye Sterling got it wrong. She wasn’t afraid to come; she was waiting for the perfect moment to make a stunning entrance that dazzled everyone’s eyes.

Eleanor, accompanied by Micah Moss, slowly walked in, drawing attention wherever she went.

The young ladies around Shannon Sheffield immediately began to exclaim.

"Who is she? She’s so beautiful!"

"I don’t know; I’ve never seen her before."

"With that appearance and demeanor, could she be a yet-to-debut debutante? Otherwise, we would have seen her before."

"I also think she’s incredibly stunning."

"Wait! That woman looks like Eleanor Sterling." Someone recognized Eleanor.

Tonight was supposed to be Shannon’s coming-of-age party, yet Eleanor stole the spotlight as soon as she appeared, garnering countless praises.

Jealousy seeped into Shannon Sheffield’s heart as she looked at Eleanor’s breathtaking beauty.

Eleanor Sterling immediately became a thorn in Shannon’s side.

Why did Eleanor get to be so beautiful? She was just a woman with a tarnished reputation. What was she worth?

The moment Eleanor appeared, Alaric Faulkner’s previously nonchalant demeanor changed; his dark eyes were fixed on her, as if nothing else could catch his attention.

However, when his gaze landed on Micah Moss behind Eleanor, his eyes narrowed dangerously.

Faye Sterling heard the young women’s gasps about Eleanor and saw the determined gleam in Alaric’s eyes, combined with the coldness from Alaric earlier.

The jealousy in her chest was crashing around violently, almost tearing her apart.

Eleanor walked up to Shannon Sheffield, stopped, and slowly curved a stunning smile, "Miss Sheffield."

Shannon was slightly surprised, "Eleanor Sterling?"

Eleanor took out a box and handed it to her, speaking coolly, "I participated in your necklace design before, though it didn’t end up being selected. But I still made it and brought it for you."

Shannon glanced at the box in Eleanor’s hand but didn’t take it.

She looked at Eleanor with obvious disdain, sneering, "It’s just a design that infringes on patents, and you brought it to me. What were you thinking?"

Eleanor’s lips curved slightly, showing no embarrassment from Shannon’s humiliation.

She spoke with a half-smile, "Miss Sheffield, are you saying my design infringed on patents?"
