Tycoon: I can see the goddess's wish list
Chapter 96 - 94, the Sunglasses Lady on the Plane
CHAPTER 96: 94, THE SUNGLASSES LADY ON THE PLANE
At 8:30 in the morning, Luofeng got up, brushed his teeth, washed his face, and then messaged Bai Ningbing, "Hey, Ningbing, I’m planning to take a trip to Capital City. Are you coming?"
"I’m not going. I’ve been cramming English recently, as you know." Bai Ningbing was about to apply for a transfer student qualification, so of course she had to work hard.
Bai Ningbing immediately saw through Luofeng’s intentions. If they went to another city together, just the two of them, they would definitely have to stay in a hotel.
Then she would become a lamb to the slaughter, fearful that she might lose her ’first blood.’
"Alright then!" Luofeng didn’t pressure Bai Ningbing. If the beautiful girl had wanted to go, he naturally would have taken her.
Since Bai Ningbing wasn’t going... Luofeng then remembered Ms. Han Feifei, whom he had encountered in Siam. After all, she said she was from Capital City. She had also said she would treat him to a meal if he went there.
Luofeng thought for a moment, then scrolled through WeChat. "Young lady, do you still remember me? Our encounter over curry crab?"
As for Han Feifei, how could she possibly forget Luofeng? She wasn’t just any young woman; she was with the National Security Investigation Bureau.
"Hello there, kiddo. I remember you. That curry crab was actually delicious; I just used it as an excuse to strike up a conversation with you," Han Feifei quickly replied.
’Kiddo,’ again? Luofeng was genuinely puzzled. Why couldn’t she let that go?
"Kiddo, have you already returned to the country?"
"I’ve been back for ages, alright? I couldn’t possibly stay out that long. I plan to go to Capital City tomorrow. Young lady, won’t you show me around?" Luofeng said with a chuckle, sending a voice message.
"What are you going to do in Capital City?" Han Feifei pondered and probed.
"Of course, to hang out with you, young lady. What else?"
Han Feifei didn’t mince her words, "But I’m not interested in kiddos, you know!"
"Seriously?! Back then, you promised that if I visited Capital City, you’d take me to hang out and binge-eat across eight streets. How come you’ve gone back on your word now?" Luofeng complained lightheartedly.
Luofeng continued to message, "Sure enough, Zhang Wuji’s mom was right: the prettier the girl, the more deceitful she is."
"That was Mr. Jin Yong’s line," Han Feifei said with a smile.
"Is there a difference?"
After a moment of thought, Han Feifei asked, "So, when will you arrive?"
"Probably tomorrow afternoon. But don’t bother picking me up; I’ve booked the hotel’s airport shuttle service. We can just meet up for dinner, okay?" Luofeng messaged.
"Oh, and I want to eat local Capital City delicacies, but I refuse Douzhi’er. You get me, haha!"
Han Feifei rolled her eyes. "Alright then. Just let me know after you check into your hotel, and I’ll take you out for food and drinks. As for entertainment, I don’t think I ever promised you that."
"Okay. See you tomorrow then."
Luofeng sent a brief reply.
「The next day at noon.」
Luofeng packed his backpack and set off. He still chose to drive himself to the airport and park his car there, as it was more convenient. As for the parking fee, Luofeng considered it a non-issue. After all, upon his return, neither taking a taxi nor using a ride-hailing service would be a good choice, as they weren’t convenient at all.
「Close to 2 p.m.」
Luofeng, sitting in the VIP lounge, was informed that it was time to board. Luofeng had paid to enter the VIP lounge because he had bought an economy class ticket... after all, first class was already sold out. On routes like Capital City to Shanghai, you needed to book first class in advance if you wanted it last minute. So, it was clear that Daxia had plenty of wealthy people; this was no exaggeration. Of course, Luofeng wasn’t so pretentious as to refuse to fly if it wasn’t first class. Just like with food, Luofeng would enjoy a cheap street stall meal just as much as an expensive Western one.
Subsequently, Luofeng lined up and waited to board.
After boarding the plane, Luofeng found his seat, 15F. However, seats 15D and 15E were already occupied. A middle-aged man was in 15D, and a young woman wearing sunglasses was in 15E.
As Luofeng walked over, the middle-aged man was boasting to the young woman about his company’s great achievements. The young woman beside him just smiled and nodded, though she seemed impatient and clearly didn’t want to deal with the middle-aged man.
"Hello, my seat is 15E!" Luofeng said as he approached, looking at the young woman in sunglasses.
Since she was wearing a trench coat, I can’t tell if her figure is good. With the sunglasses on, her facial outline looks pretty, though.
Of course, she isn’t in the wrong seat. But Luofeng deliberately said it anyway.
"Ah?" The young woman in sunglasses was startled for a moment. She checked her boarding pass and saw she was indeed in her assigned seat. She didn’t respond immediately.
"Sorry, you are indeed in my seat," Luofeng said, showing her his boarding pass with a straight face.
"Oh, oh..." The young woman in sunglasses then realized Luofeng’s intentions and said apologetically, "I’m so sorry, sir."
With that, she moved to 15F, which was Luofeng’s actual seat.
This little rascal! The middle-aged man had originally been sitting next to the young woman in sunglasses, but now they were separated. He clearly understood Luofeng’s intentions and glared fiercely at him. After all, Luofeng could see the young woman’s ’desire list’ and had directly helped her avert the crisis.
This guy... a standard pot-bellied, greasy man. Polo shirt, Buddha bead bracelet, and a belly like he’s eight months pregnant—the classic greasy man starter pack! Luofeng scoffed internally. So old yet still trying to hit on women. Dream on!
"Young man, hello there. Are you also going to Capital City?" Now that Luofeng was seated beside him, separating him from the young woman in sunglasses, the man could only try to chat with Luofeng.
"Well, I don’t think we can parachute into P City midway, can we?" Luofeng chuckled in response.
"Ah?" The man didn’t get it. However, the young woman in sunglasses next to Luofeng laughed gracefully.
Looking at the bewildered, greasy man, Luofeng continued to tease, "Look at you, uncle. You don’t understand us young folks’ conversations..."
Those who get the ’parachuting into P City’ reference, get it. A middle-aged man who doesn’t play games would naturally be clueless. Don’t even ask. If you have to ask, that’s the generation gap for you.
And seriously? This is obviously a flight to Capital City. Why ask if I’m going to Capital City? If I weren’t, the only other option would be to parachute out midway!
