"Rosalie, why did you suddenly come back?" Seraphina raised her head from Rosalie’s embrace after gathering her emotions.

"Could I not come back? If Simon hadn’t told me, were you even planning on informing me? What exactly did that bastard of Jude’s biological father do to upset you, and you didn’t even think to call me?" Rosalie asked.

Seraphina pursed her lips, and after organizing her thoughts, she slowly explained everything to Rosalie, including the appearance of Anna.

Rosalie was livid after hearing it all: "Isn’t she just a manipulative leech! Forget it, sweetheart, it’s just one man, isn’t it? Aren’t there plenty of men in the world? Come on, it’s not worth it."

Seraphina smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I also think it’s not worth it. I just feel a bit pathetic, falling twice in the same place."

Rosalie understood what she meant by "the same place" and lovingly patted Seraphina’s hair, saying, "My dear, it’s alright. Watch how your sister gets back at them for you."

Rosalie’s mother was the only girl in Bayside City’s prestigious Lynch Family, which was predominantly male. Among the younger generation, Rosalie was the only girl. Although she was the granddaughter, she was particularly pampered. Given her status, it was quite easy for her to investigate Anna’s background.

Her cousin Nathan Lynch handed Rosalie the information she asked for a few days prior and spoke worriedly, "Cousin, why are you investigating people from Cloudsea Group? You aren’t interested in Cloudsea’s CEO, are you? I heard he already has a fiancée, be careful."

"Of course, it’s supported by the government. It’s beneficial for us, why? What are you planning now?" Nathan, while puzzled, answered truthfully.

From childhood to now, his little cousin had always been a little hellion, practically a little demon, but then again, she was the family’s only girl, so what’s wrong with being a bit unruly?

"I’m going to participate too, and I’m determined to get this project." Rosalie said seriously.

"Alright, whatever makes you happy." Nathan thought for a moment and agreed.

After getting Nathan’s agreement, Rosalie left contentedly. Today, she also had to help Seraphina move.

Seraphina didn’t want to see Desmond for the time being, but Desmond knew where she lived and had the keys to her home. Although she could change the locks, it wasn’t completely secure, so she decided to simply move to Rosalie’s place for a while.

"Are all your things packed?" Rosalie asked as she looked at the ready-to-go Seraphina and Jude.

"All sorted, there wasn’t much anyway. Let’s go." Seraphina nodded, holding Jude’s hand as they walked out of the house.

Rosalie had several properties in Bayside City, all gifts from The Lynch Family on various birthdays. To be safe, Rosalie chose one with the best security.

While Seraphina was packing inside the room, Rosalie grabbed Jude’s hand and took him to the balcony.

After confirming Seraphina wouldn’t suddenly come out, Rosalie said, "Jude, look at your mom. She’s so upset because of that dog of a dad of yours. Aren’t you going to do something about it?"

"Godmother, are you planning something again? Count me in, count me in." Jude immediately got excited, knowing her all too well.

"Alright, then listen to me..." Rosalie smiled mysteriously, leaned in closer to Jude’s ear, and began whispering.

Seraphina naturally didn’t know what the two were planning secretly behind her back, anyway, when she came out and saw them sitting upright on the sofa, she noticed nothing amiss.

A few days later, while Seraphina was at work, Rosalie took Jude to the tender meeting for Southgate Park’s redevelopment project, which was the reward Jude requested after Rosalie fulfilled his conditions.

Rosalie took Jude into a private box, sternly warned, "Just sit here and don’t run around, or if something happens to you, your mom will surely skin me alive."

Seeing Jude agree, she then felt at ease to leave and went downstairs to the bidding scene.

Anna was determined to win the redevelopment project of Southgate Park. The place was filled with memories shared between her and Desmond Fairchild, and she was set on acquiring its redevelopment rights.

However, Anna didn’t anticipate that The Lynch Family would oppose her. In fact, Desmond himself wasn’t very invested in this project, nor had he committed a massive amount of capital. After several rounds of increasing bids, Anna naturally started falling behind.

Moreover, what irked her was that every time the opposing bid was just enough to top her highest offer. If it weren’t for the fact that only she and Desmond had seen this document, she would have suspected a leak.

Watching Anna’s displeased expression, Rosalie felt immensely satisfied.

"Miss Quinn, please wait a moment." After the bidding, Anna approached Rosalie.

Even though Rosalie wasn’t originally from Bayside City, she was well-known in the circle. The Lynches’ cherished little princess, her father was one of the top tycoons in the Southern City circle; people in the circle feared her somewhat.

"Miss Anna, what can I do for you?" Rosalie raised an eyebrow looking at Anna, who was dressed smartly in a women’s suit.

Frankly speaking, if she hadn’t investigated Anna’s background, just by her appearance, Rosalie would never have linked Anna to being manipulative. Truly, you can’t judge a book by its cover.

Anna took a gentle breath and spoke with a smile, "Miss Quinn, from what I understand, the redevelopment of Southgate Park doesn’t hold much significance for The Lynches, yet this redevelopment right is very important to me, so could I discuss with you about transferring the redevelopment rights to me? You can name your price."

"Sorry, I really can’t transfer it to you, if I agree to transfer the rights to you now, wouldn’t my bid against you earlier be foolish?" Rosalie said with a smile.

Anna paused for a moment, not expecting such a response from Rosalie and was momentarily at a loss for words.

Seeing Anna’s reaction, Rosalie suddenly asked, "Oh, why does Miss Anna say the redevelopment rights of Southgate Park are important to you?"

Anna smiled slightly and replied, "Because that place holds many memories for me and someone very important to me, so..."
